Effective Monday, February 2: if a funeral Mass is celebrated on a weekday, that funeral Mass will take the place of the scheduled weekday 8am Mass or Communion Service. The intention requested for the weekday Mass will be included in the funeral Mass. Special thanks to their catechists Analyssa Shultis and Jeffrey Lewis for preparing them. Confirmation 2015 There will be an important meeting for Confirmation Candidates and their sponsors on Sun. 2/1 at 9AM in Church following 8AM Mass. Bob will cover the Sponsor Mentorship Program and the remaining preparation process schedule. This is important and if a sponsor can’t attend, then I ask that a parent come in place of the sponsor. Reminder: those who have not submitted a sponsor certificate to Bob must do so now before the February 1st meeting. Youth Ministry Goes Snowtubing! Family Pilgrimage to Windham Mountain. Sat. 2/7. 3-7PM. $12 per child (original group price $17: YM covers $5 of the fee for all children under 18. Parents who participate pay the regular fee). Those families who wish to go as a family must give Bob the names of those participating with the fee. Those youth in 7th grade who are interested in going without family must submit a completed permission form with the $12 fee to Bob by Faith Formation Class on 1/26 or at the Rectory by that date. If you need a permission form, call Bob. We need at least 15 snow tubers to get the discount of $17. 5th Annual Youth Ministry Nickel Social Fundraiser: Sat. 4/18 5-8PM at the Firehouse Hose #3. The proceeds for this fundraiser will go toward the YM trip to the National Catholic Youth Conference in Nov. 2015. We need help in collecting items for auction.
