Dear Southeast Denver Friends and Neighbors,
We are writing to introduce Kendra Black—our choice for Denver City Council District 4. Your
vote on May 5, 2015 is very important to our City.
With nearly half of City Council leaving their seats due to term limits—the highest turnover
in more than a decade—it is imperative we elect only the most committed, passionate and
informed new leaders we possibly can. The future of Denver depends on it.
We strongly endorse Kendra Black—a southeast Denver native. With decades of experience in
family business, community and education, Kendra has created a solid reputation successfully
advocating for the schools and neighborhoods of southeast Denver. She has earned our
endorsement because she’s driven and passionate about Denver. Simply put, she gets things done.
Kendra’s vision for our city and for southeast Denver neighborhoods is one of greater
collaboration among public, private and community entities. When elected Kendra pledges to:
Fight for southeast Denver by keeping government accountable to maintain our parks, keep
our streets safe and secure, preserve our neighborhoods, communicate with our citizens,
partner with our schools and help support the most vulnerable among us.
Increase safety on our busy streets—for drivers, RTD passengers, pedestrians and bicyclists alike.
