Monday, 25th April
Overnight Bridgetown, Barbados
Board Voyager in Bridgetown, the vibrant capital
of the sun-kissed island of Barbados. As the
ship docks here overnight, why not head into
town after dinner. When the sun goes down in
Barbados, the party starts and goes on till the
early hours.
Optional excursions give you the chance to
stray from the beach to discover these towering
giants or take a thrilling open-top Jeep safari
through the rainforest and into coffee and
banana plantations.

There’s plenty of time to enjoy the facilities on
board Voyager, top up your tan as you laze by the
pool and get to know your fellow travellers with
six relaxing days at sea as you cross the Atlantic.

Bridgetown, Barbados
Wednesday, 4th May
With over 3,000 hours of sunshine yearly, the
weather in Barbados is nearly always perfect –
hot and sunny and cooled by the northeast trade
winds. What better then, than to while away the
day relaxing on snow-white sands, taking a dip
in crystal-clear waters and sipping an ice-cool
rum punch or two. Brighton Beach is just
minutes from the port and is fringed by coral
reefs which are excellent for snorkelling. Maybe
join a game of volleyball or head to nearby
aptly-named Paradise Bay, where you can hop
on a jet ski. If you want to find out more about
the fascinating history of the island, you’ll have
a great choice of optional shore excursions. You
could delve into the story of its sugar, rum and
molasses trade at the grand Sunbury Plantation
House, or spend the day at the Boatyard Beach
Club, where fun activities include an ocean
trampoline, an ‘iceberg’ climb and a dive platform.
Head back to the ship for an evening of
entertainment as Voyager sets sail for the
island paradise of St Lucia.

Castries, St Lucia
Secluded, romantic and upmarket, St Lucia is
a real feast for the eyes, and that’s where you’ll
wake up this morning. It’s a mountainous island
blanketed by lush green rainforest, surrounded
by azure waters and dominated by the dramatic
volcanic cones of the Pitons – the iconic stars
of many a holiday brochure.

Mindelo, São Vicente, Cape Verde
Voyager arrives at the island country of Cape
Verde this morning, a 10-island archipelago way
out in the Atlantic to the west of Africa. Step
ashore in the islands’ cultural capital Mindelo
on São Vicente, which pulsates to the sound
of music pouring from its bars and clubs and
radiates an intoxicating African and Latin vibe.
Optional excursions help you to discover more
of the island, from its colonial Portuguese
architecture and historic monuments to the
lovely beach at Catfish Bay and its sweeping
sand dunes.

Praia, Santiago, Cape Verde
On Santiago discover a diverse landscape of
volcanic rock, green valleys and beautiful beaches.
Its capital, the bustling town of Praia, is home to
old colonial buildings, busy markets and chic cafés,
and boasts a distinctly Mediterranean flavour.
An interesting insight into the island’s past can
be found in the old capital, the UNESCO-listed
Cidade Velha, once the main slave trading point
between Europe, Africa and America. This is
where the history of Cape Verde began, and you’ll
be following in the footsteps of famous visitors
including Sir Francis Drake and Charles Darwin
as you explore.

During a weekend at sea en route to the Canary
Islands, enjoy more of the top-class entertainment
we’ve laid on for you. From deck parties under
the stars to jewellery-making classes and
American-style tea dances, there’s something
going on every minute of the day and night.

Santa Cruz, Tenerife
Monday morning sees Voyager arrive at the
sunshine Canary Island of Tenerife, crowned by
the towering volcano Mount Teide and surrounded
by black-sand beaches. Its capital Santa Cruz
is a cosmopolitan hive of activity which won’t
disappoint day-trippers. You might choose to hit
the shops, peruse the art galleries or simply relax
on Playa de las Teresitas, where you’ll find golden
sands and calm, shimmering waters.
An optional shore excursion gives you the chance
to explore the volcanic terrain and unique rock
formations of Mount Teide National Park.

Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
Las Palmas, on the island of Gran Canaria,
is your final port of call and you'll disembark
Voyager during the traditional period of
Maspalomas Pride (date to be confirmed),

Outside cabins on Columbus, Promenade and Bridge Decks have picture
windows, while all outside cabins on other decks feature two portholes.
All cabins have two lower beds or a double bed, some also have one upper
berth or a sofa-bed, allowing a third person to share the cabin, and three
cabins have been adapted for use by passengers with disabilities. All cabins
feature private facilities with a bath and/or shower, air-conditioning, TV,
hairdryer and safe. All suites have bath with shower over (some with spa
bath) and are also equipped with a fridge.
