CAPITAL CAMPAIGN HELPFUL HINTS Your pledges are rolling in! If your have not yet made your pledge, please do! We thank you all for your generosity and patience as we at the parish office begin processing. Due to the many different methods of payments, there are a few things that you can do that will help us keep things running smoothly: ◊ When using your own bank’s “Bill Pay” option, please indicate in memo section “PLEDGE” and/ or change the Payee name to “St. Ignatius Family Life Center”. ◊ Please do not combine your Campaign Pledge with your weekly offertory. Separate checks are necessary; please use your check “memo” to designate your intent. ◊ When you receive your reminder le+er, we will have included a special “PLEDGE PAYMENT” envelope which you are welcome to drop in the weekend collection basket, or mail back to our office. Please do not use your weekly offertory envelopes for your pledge payments. This helps assure the posting process is accurate. Please do not use the larger initial pledge envelopes. We will have white and gold “PLEDGE PAYMENT” envelopes available in the pews and at the back of the church for your convenience. Please call Barbara at the parish office at 561-622-2565 if you have any questions regarding your campaign contributions. More Catholics and nonCatholics are utilizing the social and digital media resources to reflect on faith and to communicate. This weekend of May 16 and 17, we will conduct a special collection for The Catholic University of America and the Catholic Communications Campaign (CCC) which sustains and grows Catholic media activities around the globe and in the Diocese of Palm Beach. This year as our Church celebrates the 49th World Communications Day on May 17, Pope Francis has said the theme for this event should center around the family – where everyone first learns to communicate. This is most appropriate as we prepare for the 8 th World Meeting of Families to take place in Philadelphia in September. In our diocese, we utilize the television Mass, the Florida Catholic newspaper, our diocesan website and electronic newsletters to share the Gospel with our faith family and community. Half of the proceeds from the CCC collection support our local communication efforts, while the rest of the proceeds support the development and production of a wide range of media initiatives carried out by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. The second part of our collection is for The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., the national university of the Catholic Church. It is the only institution of higher education in the United States founded by the U.S. bishops and chartered by the Vatican. The university educates clergy, religious, and young lay men and women from every geographical region of the United States. Because of your support of the CCC and Catholic University collections, millions of faithful will have the opportunity to deepen their faith through media resources and Catholic learning. Your generosity is always deeply appreciated. With gratitude for your continued generosity and every prayerful wish, I am Sincerely yours in Christ, Most Reverend Gerald M. Para información, llame al 775-9544 LA ALEGRIA DEL EVANGELIO: Una eterna novedad 11.
