MOMMY CLUB
ADORATION OF THE HOLY SACRAMENT OPEN HOURS
WANT TO BE IN A SCHOLA?
"The brand-new St. Paul's Schola is looking for members. This
choir will participate in select Masses throughout the year, primarily on Holy Days and major Feast Days, and has a focus on chant,
polyphony, and multi-part vocal harmonies. Anyone with a familiarity with musical notation and choral singing is invited to audition
for the choir. If you are interested in trying out for this group,

PRE-BAPTISMAL CLASS
ST.PAUL’S GALA
Fr. Bill will be teaching a Bible Study on Tuesdays at 10am or
12noon. You may choose the time that best works for you. The
title of the class is The Great Themes of . The class will be held at
the parish office.

MEN IN BLACK CALENDAR
The voca on Commi ee will be selling the Men in Black
calendars a er Masses on the weekend of November 21
&22. All funds will be used to support the seminarians
and re red priests.
We are so blessed to have a perpetual adoration chapel. Yet, this
means that we need people to be in the chapel 24/7. We have a
few time slots that are vacant. Please contact Chris Johnson at
467-0332 if you are willing to take a prayer time. All of the daytime
hours are filled but still have quite a few night hours available: Open Hours: Sunday at 1:00 am and 2:00 am, Monday at 4:00
am, Tuesday at 1:00 a.m and 2:00 am, Wednesday at 4:00 am,
Thursday at 1:00 am, 2:00 am and 3:00 am
All parents and godparents are invited to participate in the pre baptismal classes on December 15 at 7:00pm in the Church.
BIBLE STUDY

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
THANKSGIVING DAY MASSES

The Knights of Columbus are collecting coats, gloves, scarfs and
hats from now thru November 24. Donations can be placed in the
blue barrels. All items will be given to children, whom otherwise
would go without.
SCRATCHING PEWS
-9:30am in English
Our pews are starting to get scratched up in spots. Sometimes
our wallets, jeans and belts have a lot of metal on the outside and
when we sit, they can scratch the pews.
The parish office will be closed at
12:00pm (noon) on Wednesday and
closed all day on Thursday and Friday.
NEW CHOIR
St. Paul's will hold auditions for pianists to serve at our new 5 pm
Sunday mass. Qualified candidates will be highly skilled pianists,
able to read written accompaniments and to improvise from lead
sheets or guitar charts, and who are well-versed in contemporary
styles of music. While preference will be given to members of the
parish, we will consider non-members as candidates, and we will
welcome your referrals. Qualified candidates should contact Mike
Schaller to schedule an audition, 208-697-8236.

2015 Education Tax Credit Donation
Due to Idaho and federal income tax incentives, most taxpayers can give to St. Paul’s Catholic School a donation of
$400 filing jointly (or $200 filing individually) for an after-tax cost to you of ONLY $69 (or $35).
St. Paul’s needs this big financial boost, which is encouraged by our Idaho Educational Tax Credit of 50% of the donated amount (no itemized deductions required), and also by both federal and state itemized income tax deductions.
Check with your tax advisor and, if you haven’t already done so, consider making out your 2015 Tax Credit Donation
check today. The 2015 tax year ends soon.

MARIAN MOVEMENT
The Marian Movement of Priests meets every Tuesday at 9am in
the Adoration Chapel. All are welcome to attend the weekly meetings .For more information please contact Zulema 871-3892.
MASS IN OREANA
Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Heaven on Nov.
28 at 10:00am.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
For over ten years the Knights of Columbus have been providing
free wheelchairs to people all over the world who need them but
cannot afford them. This year, Idaho Knights are working to provide free wheelchairs to Idaho Veterans who are in need of mobility. Next weekend, representatives from the American Wheelchair Mission will be here to tell us about this program and how
you can help change lives and answer prayers.
TAIZE PRAYER
Taize Prayer will be offered at Nazareth Retreat Center, 4450 N.
Five Mile Road, each Wednesday during Advent beginning December 2 at 7:00pm.For additional information please call Nazareth, 375-2932 or email [email protected]. All are welcome.
OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE RAFFLE
Raffle tickets are now available for the December 12 raffle. The
prizes are:
1st prizes-An outdoor Nativity Scene
2nd prizes- An image of our Lady of Guadalupe and a Bible
3rd prizes- A set of 4 bibles: 2 adult, 1 youth & 1 children’s bible.
Tickets are $1 each.
FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
The feast is on December 8 and a Holy Day of Obligation. The
masses schedule is : on Mon.; Dec. 7 at 6:00pm vigil and on
Tues.; Dec. 8 at 7:00am (English), 8:15am (English), 12:10pm
and 6:00pm (English). The parish office will be closed in observance.
DECORATE FATHER’S CRISTMAS TREES
All are invited to help decorate Fr. Vogel and Fr. Rosero’s Christmas trees on Dec. 5 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. All are asked to
bring an ornament and a dessert or appetizer to share.
JCDA
Come join the Junior Catholic Daughters and help your community! Next meeting is Dec. 1st, Tuesday at 7PM in conjunction with
the Catholic Daughters meeting and Christmas Party. The Juniors
will also meet on Dec. 6th at 7PM on Monday to make decorations for the Knights of Columbus benefit dinner for the Building

Fall and Winter Fundraiser
St. Paul’s Senior Girl Scout Troop is offering to Rake your leaves
this fall OR shovel your snow this winter! Please contact any of

EUCHARIST FOR THE HOMEBOUND
If you or a loved one is unable to attend Mass because of illness or
incapacity to travel and would like to have a Eucharistic minister
bring the Eucharist to you at home or in the hospital or nursing facility, please notify the parish office or call Judy Kimbrough at 249-5511.
We will be happy to make arrangements with you. Spanish speaking
is available.

NO ONE DIES ALONE
Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa
No One Dies alone was founded by nurse Sandra Clarke in November, 2001: “No One Dies Alone is a volunteer program that provides
the reassuring presence of a volunteer companion to dying patients
who would otherwise be alone. With the support of the nursing staff,
companions are thus able to help provide patients with that most
valuable of human gifts: a dignified death.” Chaplain John Henry is
the hospital's representative for NODA. If you are interested please

COME SEE THE TREE!
The Catholic Daughters' court, Our Lady of Victory and Junior Court,
St. Joan of Arc, are sponsoring a tree for the Canyon County Festival
of Trees. All proceeds support the Meals on Wheels Program for
Canyon County. This is a wonderful event held at the Ford Center
during Thanksgiving weekend. Come see what your parish is doing
for the community.

MASS AT A CARE CENTER
There will be a Care Center Holy Mass at Kindred Nampa Care, November 28 at 10 a.m. All are invited. Those who are ill may receive
the Sacrament of the Sick at this Mass.
