Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Dear Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharistic and Lectors,
“Being a servant of Our Lord is a way of sharing one’s own faith and continuing Jesus’
mission”. On Saturday, Nov. 14th. 2015, from 8:00am to 1:00pm, there will be a
Retreat for current and new Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Lectors and Ushers.
We will begin with the 8:00 am Mass.
This will be a way to better appreciate and energize our
spiritual inner being and review and learn new training procedures.
During this time everyone will complete 2015-2016 “Sign –up” ministry forms. This
procedure is very important because all of our files are kept on data base and used to
deliver any important messages and monthly Ministry Schedules.
If you would like to become an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist
or a Lector, please call Mrs. Gonzalez at the Rectory.
In Christ,
Mrs. Gonzalez, DRE
Ministry Department
Tania Gonzalez.
En Cristo,
Sra. Tania Gonzalez
A Tithe of 10% of your estate as a gift to your parish demonstrates your care and concern for your parish
family. Consider and discuss this concept with family members and financial advisors. Contact the
rectory or call the Office of Planned Giving at (305) 762-1110 for more information.

Vocations Office
More and more young men are seeking a profound relationship with Jesus Christ
and are considering the possibility that they may be called by God to embrace a
vocation to the diocesan priesthood. Vocation Awareness Weekend is a retreat
for men ages 17-35 who are seeking more information about the priesthood and
seminary life. It is held on the grounds of St. John Vianney College Seminary in
Miami and consists of numerous workshops, liturgies, and social events with the
seminarians. Participants will have ample time to ask questions, gain an
understanding of seminary life and prayerfully consider God's call. The next
Vocations Awareness Weekend will be held Nov. 6-8, 2015. If you would like to
attend, please contact your parish priest or the Vocation Director, Father Elvis
Gonzalez at [email protected] or by calling 305-762-1137. You may also
find a registration form on our website at www.miamiarch.org/vocations.
