Thirty-Second Sunday in
Ordinary Time
November 8, 2015
The Lord provides for Elijah’s needs as the widow
of Zarephath shares with him from her want. Her
generosity is mirrored in the widow in the temple
who gives from her poverty and not from power,
privilege, or excess. In Jesus, God became poor for
us, offering Himself to take away our sins.

La Apologética cumple con la orden de San Pedro:
“sigan adorando interiormente al Señor, a Cristo; y
siempre estén dispuestos a dar una respuesta acertada al
que les pide cuenta de su esperanza. Pero háganlo con
sencillez y deferencia” (respeto) (1 Pe 3:15-16).
Debemos siempre tener en cuenta los siguientes puntos:
12. Estado de Ánimo. Hay que empezar y terminar la discusión
con una oración. Mantén las riendas de tu temperamento. Pide
disculpas si pierdes el control. Termina la discusión
tranquilamente si la otra persona asume un tono abusivo o
grosero. Insiste en que no se dirijan ataques ofensivos a
Nuestra Señora o a la Eucaristía. Pídele que simplemente
expresen con qué están en desacuerdo y por qué.
13. Experiencia. No temas si no eres un experto en la doctrina
Católica. No tienes que serlo, explica sólo lo que tú sabes. Si lo
único que puedes hacer es aclarar un punto o corregir un
malentendido, habrás hecho mucho. Además el hecho que un
no-católico conozca a un católico respetuoso y educado, que
conoce la Biblia y se preocupa por salvar su alma, le dejará una
buena impresión de la Iglesia Católica.
14. Advertencia. ¡Ten cuidado a quien permites entrar en tu
casa! Ser apologista no significa dejar a un lado el sentido
común en lo que respecta a la confianza en extraños.

Hoy el Evangelio nos dice: “Cuídense de esos maestros de la

Campaña “Primeros 1000 Días”

Donde todos son acogidos y amados por la misericordia

niños cuales viven en África subsahariana fueron infectados
por sus VIH-positivas madres durante el embarazo, el parto o la

regímenes más eficaces de drogas (según lo recomendado por
