students and our school. We offer

younger primary students – in
grades kindergarten, first and second and third grades. Our kindergarten is a full-day program

gift. We pledge to serve the needs and concerns of everyone and will strive to build
God’s kingdom of love, justice and peace
through worship, evangelization and service.
Scripture Insights
This Sunday’s
Gospel is still
part of the
beginning of
Mark, where
we meet Jesus who heralds the Reign of God with
words and with deeds. Joined
by his first four disciples, he
enters Simon’s and Andrew’s
household, where they alert
him to the feverish conditions
of Simon’s mother in law.
Without a word, Jesus takes
her hand and raises her up.
Mark says simply, “Then the
fever left her and she waited on
them.” This cameo of Christian
life: a person in trouble is rescued by the lord, and responds
by serving other. What Jesus
did earlier for a man in the
synagogue and then for the
woman at home he does now
for the whole town. When we
see Jesus rise early the next
morning to pray in a deserted
place and his disciples urge
him to attend to the local seekers, he replies that he must
move to other towns to preach
to them as well—“for this purpose have I come.”

Escrituras
El Evangelio de este domingo es
todavía parte del comienzo de
Marcos, donde nos encontramos
con Jesús que anuncia el Reino
de Dios con palabras y con hechos. Acompañado por sus primeros cuatro discípulos, entra
en la casa de Simón y Andrés,
donde le advierten de los estados febriles de la suegra de Simón. Sin decir una palabra, Jesús toma la mano y la levanta.
Marcos dice simplemente:
"Entonces le quitó la fiebre y se
puso a servirles." Este un cameo
de la vida cristiana: una persona
en problemas es rescatado por el
Señor, y responde al servir a
otros. Lo que Jesús hizo a principios de un hombre en la sinagoga y luego para la mujer en el
hogar lo hace ahora para todo el
pueblo. Cuando vemos a Jesús
