Baptism preparation involves speaking of all the Sacraments and how they affect your life. Baptism is just the start of the journey of spiritual life. We are seeking couples around 30 to 50 years old, who have children in St. Pius School or Faith Formation or even beyond who can give the presentation and give witness to the Catholic family journey. Bilingual Volunteer Needed Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) volunteer to help at their Lombard office. This volunteer will assist the Emergency Services Case Manager with intakes and assessments of potential program participants; make appropriate referrals and recommendations for clients as needed; respond to walk-in clients; provide clients with resources such as food vouchers, transportation vouchers, and medication assistance; and instill a sense of hope in individuals/families served.
