Ararat Rural City & Northern Grampians Shire have
prepared amendments to their Planning Schemes to
implement the key findings of the Ararat-Stawell-Halls
Gap Triangle Rural Zone Review 2012.
The amendment will introduce a strategic vision for
tourism, agricultural and rural residential development
within the triangle. It will also provide for a consistent
approach to the assessment of planning applications
between Ararat Planning Scheme and the Northern
Grampians Planning Scheme.
Fact sheets are available which provide information
about both amendments.
