There is a very warm welcome to
everyone worshipping our Lord in
this place. After morning worship
there is refreshments and an
opportunity to have a chat.
The calling of the Methodist Church is to
respond to the Gospel of God’s love in Christ and
to live it’s discipleship in worship and mission

Local Arrangement Circuit Training
When ‘LA’ appears on the plan, how do you respond?
SMC wants to help you respond well to the
opportunities and challenges that Las bring. A
training session is being held specifically aimed at
Worship Leaders and Church Stewards, but open to
anyone who would like to come. The session will be
held at Oakhill Methodist Church from 10.00am to
12 noon on Saturday 7th February and will be
repeated at Churchill Methodist Church from
10.00am to 12 noon on Tuesday 10th February. It
would be good if all Worship Leaders and Church
Stewards from our church could be present and at
the very least one person attend one of these sessions

A mini bus is being organised by Mendip
Vale Christians Together to go the Christian
Resources Exhibition in Exeter, Wednesday
11th February. As well as having the
opportunity to see what resources are
available to us, there will also be various
seminars taking place. If anyone is
interested please let me know and I can
arrange for a place to be reserved on the
mini bus. Rev Julie
