The "Souper Bowl" is an attempt to care for the "least of our brothers and sisters" by encouraging us to donate the cost of a bag of snack food or beverage as we leave Mass on this weekend of Super Bowl Sunday. Last year our parish raised $1989.40 which was distributed to our parish Food Pantry and Our Father’s House to help feed people right here who are hungry. This puts our 16 year total at over $19,000 of which every penny has been donated to local food shelters. This year’s collection will go to support the Brown bag Ministry, Our Lady of the Lake’s effort to extend the Food Pantry for those in our local community.
