Mission Statement
As a faith-filled Christian Community we are committed
to building up the Body of Christ and strengthening the
Kingdom of God. Through diverse ministries, we share our
many gifts to respond to the needs within and outside our
Parish Community. Confident in our strengths and aware
of our weaknesses, we enter into collaboration with other
communities to deepen our relationship with Jesus and
one another. By fulfilling our pastoral, sacramental, and
educational needs, we, as a Eucharistic Church, work to
proclaim the message and presence of the risen Lord.
Sacrament of Baptism
Parents wishing to have their children baptized must
attend an instruction which is offered once a month.
Please call the Parish Office to make arrangements.
Sacrament of Marriage
The Sacrament of Marriage is celebrated following
a program of marriage preparation. Please call the
Parish Office at least one year in advance to make
arrangements.

Please notify us when a parishioner is homebound or
hospitalized so that we may visit the person and offer
the sacraments of the Church.

SOUPER BOWL THIS WEEKEND!
The "Souper Bowl" is an attempt to care for the "least of our
brothers and sisters" by encouraging us to donate the cost of
a bag of snack food or beverage as we leave Mass on this
weekend of Super Bowl Sunday.
Last year our parish raised $1989.40 which was distributed
to our parish Food Pantry and Our Father’s House to help
feed people right here who are hungry. This puts our 16 year
total at over $19,000 of which every penny has been
donated to local food shelters. This year’s collection will go
to support the Brown bag Ministry, Our Lady of the Lake’s
effort to extend the Food Pantry for those in our local
community.
Our teens will be at the doors next weekend to accept
your support for this super effort!
Our Annual Chowder Fest is scheduled for Friday,
FEB 27th from 5-7:30PM in St. Joseph’s Hall.
Menu includes clam, fish, and corn
chowder, macaroni & cheese, corn
bread, crackers, bread, coffee, tea
and desserts.
Tickets are: Adults $7,
Children 6-12 $3.50; and Seniors $5.
If you are interested in helping with this
event, please call Jane O’Hara at 978-597-2555 or
email [email protected] or use the sign up sheets at
the church entrances.
Lenten Faith Formation Experience
Monsignor Jim Mongelluzzo will present a four part
series on the Mass dur ing the season of Lent. The
sessions will take place Wednesday evenings from
7PM-8:30PM on FEB 25th, MAR 4th, MAR 18th,
and MAR 25th.
We encourage everyone to consider coming to these
presentations in order to enrich your understanding of
why we do what we do as a community when we
gather to celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
Babysitting will be pr ovided so that young families
may have the opportunity to attend these sessions
being given by a master teacher of the Liturgy.
On each of these evenings, Mass will be celebrated at
5:30PM and be followed by a simple meal of soup
and bread to which ever yone is invited.
We are looking for volunteers to prepare meatless
soups on the evenings of the Lenten Faith
Formation series. Please use the sign up sheets
located at the church entrances. The suppers will be
served at 6PM in the St. Katherine Drexel Room,
(M8).
Anyone interested in becoming a Lector or a
Eucharistic Minister, please contact Joan Burns
this week. Training will take place for both of
these ministries during the season of Lent. Joan
can be reached at [email protected] or the
parish office, Ext. 103.
