PRACTICAL INFORMATION
to help you organize your stay in Sevilla
1.
Ground Transport in Sevilla
At your arrival at Sevilla Pan Pablo airport:
The Sevilla airport is located only 5 km from the city center (where most hotels are located) and only 2
km from the convention center (“Palacio de Congresos” / “FIBES II”).
Taxi fares are at fixed and reasonable rates and there is also a frequently operating express bus (EA)
which departs just next to the taxi stop at the arrival terminal and which reaches the city center in 25
minutes.

If you are included in a group, you have certainly received information on your transfer from the person
in charge of the group.
Invited Speakers:
As an invited speaker, your transfer in Sevilla will be organized according to the information sent to
you in separate correspondence sent by Barcelo Congresos.

The detailed Final Program and Abstracts of all sessions will be posted on the congress website
www.eurogin.com/2015 on February 4 at 0.00 am CET.
Full congress information, including the final program and abstracts, will also be available via a
flashcode on the printed “Pocket Overview” which you will receive upon your arrival at the congress
registration desk.

Arrival at the Congress / Badge Pick-up
The registration desk at the congress venue will open on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 15.00 (until 18.30).
Participants arriving in Sevilla on Feb. 3 or earlier are strongly advised to pick up their badge and
personal congress documents on that day!
From Feb. 4 to Feb. 6, the registration desk is open from 7.30 to 18.30, and on Feb. 7 from 7.30 to
14.00.

EUROGIN 2015 Welcome Reception – February 4 at 20.00
ATTENTION: The venue of the Welcome Reception has changed!
The Reception will take place in the Real Alcazar (Royal Palace), located right in the historic city
center.
Detailed information about access is available on

and will also be indicated on your personal invitation card which you will receive in your personal
envelope.
5.
Free Guided Tours of the Real Alcazar - February 4 at 19.00
The city of Sevilla has agreed that we can exceptionally organize guided tour of the Royal Palace
(Real Alcazar) ahead of the Welcome Reception.
We are pleased to offer a free guided tour (in English) to our delegates, upon PRIOR RESERVATION
ONLY!
To participate in one of these tours you need to confirm your presence by sending a short message,
to:

stating “EUROGIN 2015 – Real Alcazar tour Feb. 4 at 19.00" and your name.
The number of participants at these tours is limited and we recommend to respond as soon as
possible if you would like to participate.
The tours will start at 19.00 h sharp. You will need to arrive a few minutes before 19.00 h at the private
entrance indicated on

6.
CME (Continuing Medical Education)
The EUROGIN 2015 congress is accredited by the EACCME as a CME activity with a maximum of 21
hours of European external CME credits.
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the
educational activity.
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical
Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category
1 Credits™.
To claim these credits you need to complete the Learners Evaluation Form which will be available at
the CME desk.
7.
EUROGIN 2015 Roadmap
An expert consensus report will be drawn up following the EUROGIN 2015 conference for publication
in an international scientific journal.
If you would like to receive this document (EUROGIN 2015 ROADMAP) by email, please complete the
relevant form (which you will find in your personal envelope) and drop it into the collection box at the
registration desk.
