ACER is the nation’s leading independent educational research body. Our goal is to support every learner, every learning
professional, every learning institution and our learning society through our work. As a national, independent research body,
ACER brings a high level of expertise and objectivity to its work. Our mission is to create and promote research-based
knowledge, products and services that can be used to improve learning across the life span.
We are currently seeking to appoint up to two Indigenous Graduates to join our team for up to two years. As one of our
graduates you’ll enjoy a range of experiences, work in diverse teams, contribute to a variety of projects and build networks
that will stay with you throughout your career. The Program will give you the foundational skills required for high quality
analysis and dissemination of research that has a strong impact on policies and practices that impact on educational
outcomes.
The ideal candidates will be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who have recently graduated (or about to be
conferred) with a Masters degree or equivalent from an Education; Social Sciences; Adult Learning; Psychology; Maths;
Humanities; Statistics; and International Relations discipline. You will also have a keen interest in, and strong potential for,
undertaking educational research.
Successful candidates will have an opportunity to work from one of ACER’s offices in Australia and will receive professional
training and mentoring. It is expected that Graduates will be commencing employment in March or April 2015.
This is a full time 2 year opportunity to join our team. Salary is within the range of $86,736 - $95,865 (plus 17% super).

The Assurance Audit Services Group (AASG) provides independent assurance on the financial statements and financial
administration of all Australian Government entities. AASG plays an important role in seeking to improve financial
management and administration across the federal public sector. We are looking for accounting graduates with a
specialisation in commerce, business, economics or IT systems.
Performance Audit Services Group
The Performance Audit Services Group (PASG) contributes to improved public sector administration and accountability
through a program of performance audits of Australian Government entities and Commonwealth partners. These audits
evaluate the implementation of programs, policies, projects and activities. We are looking for graduates with strong research
and analytical skills from disciplines such as economics, social science, law, business, communications and environmental
science.
IT Audit
IT Audit provides leading edge IT support and resources to both AASG and PASG. IT Audit staff have a diverse range of
professional and technical backgrounds including project management, system administration, database development, data
