1 One (1) Full-time graduate assistantship (GA) in the STEAM Education Department: (Pending fund appropriations) Requirements and qualifications  B.S. or B.A degree in education or related field  3.8 undergraduate GPA  Enrolled in a graduate program in education or related field  Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office and technological skills  Strong communication skills (written or oral) Duties and responsibilities  To assist faculty with research projects (i.e.: compiling and analyzing data)  To assist department in setting up NCATE assessment database (e.g. helping with NCATE data collection and dissemination of resources  To provide periodic information for graduate program students  To assist program coordinators and program facilitators in various academic activities (e.g. writing, revising, and proofreading program documents, researching resources and potential networks with state and national professional institutions, as well as local area educators and  districts, coordinating program conferences, editing , updating program’s social media  and blogs  To assist in the preparation of presentation and reports (e.g. preparing reports and helping with small literature reviews for the reports)     Note: A full-time GA requires 20-hours per week   Application deadline May 1, 2015 For further information contact Dr. Issam Abi-El-Mona [email protected] (856) 256-4736 Ms. Betty-Jo Sorbello [email protected] (856) 256-4738 Application forms The GA application forms are available through the Global Learning and Partnerships website.
