COURSES
Chukars will be used in all series.
Open to all AKC registered flushing spaniel breeds six months of
age or over on the day of the hunt test.
This licensed hunt is held under American Kennel Club rules and
regulations. Entries will close with 40 entries in each event.
Standard AKC Rosettes to all dogs receiving qualifying scores.

Remember Gun Safety!
ALL participants, including handlers, gunners at stakes with live
ammunition, judges, and marshals, MUST have a valid hunting
license from their home state. The Boykin Spaniel Club and
Breeders Association of America will obtain all required permits from
the state of South Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission to host this
event.
An article of blaze orange clothing must be worn by all in the
field. A cap by itself does not meet this requirement.
No training on the hunt test grounds. Heeling sticks and electronic
training collars may not be used on the grounds. Abuse will not be
tolerated.
Requests for refunds will be given consideration in the cases of injured
dogs, bitches in season, or dire family emergency. Refunds may be
requested by filling out a request form and submitting a veterinarian’s
certificate to the event secretary. Requests for refunds will be
reviewed by the hunt test committee, and approved refunds will be
mailed. Requests must be made within 7 days of the close of the hunt
test. No refunds will be given during the event.
Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent,
disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by the action of the
Judge or the Hunt Test Committee. No entry fee will be refunded if the
Hunt Test cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil
disturbances, fire, inclement weather, public emergency, act of a public
enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the host club. In
such case, the Hunt Test may be rescheduled if possible.
Bitches in season are not allowed on the hunt test grounds.
Entry Completion
Please complete a separate entry form for each dog and each day. (Note the
different event date and number on the forms) If you are entering a dog in
both events on the weekend please enter the dog at the current competition
level for both days. The owner may move up dogs attaining titles on
Saturday to a higher class on Sunday. Please complete the “Total Enclosed”
worksheet, “Hold Harmless Agreement”, and Entry Forms and submit with
payment for the event and meals.

Made in advance of the closing date. Total cost is $35.00 per person and will include:

Saturday Evening Dinner
AGREEMENT
I (we) agree that Boykin Spaniel Club and Breeders Association of America
(hereinafter BSCBAA) has the right to refuse any dog(s) from participation in any
event for cause which the Club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the
opportunity to participate in any BSCBAA activity, I (we) agree to hold the
BSCBAA, its members, directors, officers, agents, superintendents or event
secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of
services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of
the aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may
be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the
act of their dog(s) while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any
entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for
any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties
harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to my dog(s).

indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all
loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law
upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries,

persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property arising
out of or in consequence to my (our) participation in this event, however such
injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same
may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence

AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO ARBITRATION ALL
APPLICABLE BSCBAA BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURE MUST
FIRST BE FOLLOWED AS SET FORTH IN THE BSCBAA BYLAWS, RULES,
