To Students enrolling in Mathematics General 3C for 2015 Maths General 3C is an important component of the Maths curriculum offerings at Elizabeth College. It is recommended for many courses of study at University. It is however, important that students check the pre-requisite mathematics course required for future study as it can vary between different Universities. We are running an intensive one day consolidation and review program before normal classes begin in 2015. This program will be offered to students who have enrolled in in Maths General 3 at Elizabeth College for 2015. This will enable students to review their background skills in mathematics, and prepare for the year’s work ahead. Purposes of the Program “clearing the cobwebs” from the mind after the long holidays so students are ready for an immediate start in the course consolidating Algebra skills reviewing introductory Trigonometry and Finance boosting student confidence meeting possible teachers of Maths General making new friends The program will run on Friday, 30th January, 2015 The day will begin at 9:00am and will finish at around 2:30pm. Our canteen will not be open at that time so participants would need to bring their lunch (and morning tea) or buy from nearby shops. Students should meet at the College Office (Elizabeth Street entrance) at 8:55am. Cost – none Requirements – pen, paper, Casio ClassPad calculator, enthusiasm. Participation is voluntary, but recommended. For planning purposes we need to know how many students will be attending.
