FLACARS Repo Expo and Florida Tow Show Welcomes
Florida Auto Theft Intelligence Unit (FATIU)
&
Central Florida Auto Theft Intelligence Unit (CFATIU)
Overview:
FATIU provides its members with an enormous wealth of experience, training and resources in areas such as
technical developments, trends, intelligence and investigative assistance. FATIU is also a strong force in the
legislative world. Their goal is to push those bills that support the effort to stop theft in Florida. We invite all
auto theft investigators, inspectors, agents, or crime analysts from any local, county, state or federal
enforcement agencies and any investigators or inspectors from DHSMV, insurance companies, finance
companies, or rental car companies to attend.
Repossession and towing enforcement training will be held in the morning and will be followed by an afternoon
presentation, sponsored by Dynamic, on investigative research and intelligence gathering through online
resources presented by the experienced and highly sought-after instructor Michele Stuart.
Michele Stuart is a licensed Private Investigator in the State of Arizona with twenty years of experience
specializing in the areas of Financial, Open Source Investigations (OSINT), Corporate Investigations, and
Intelligence/Counter Intelligence. She started her investigative career as an Economic Fraud Investigator.

title fraud, export of stolen vehicles, cargo theft, VIN alteration, and odometer fraud. In addition to his
investigative duties, Cravens developed instructional programs for law enforcement and industry members
aimed at prevention and compliance with federal, state, and local laws pertaining to auto theft and related crime.
