Candidates shall have to pay application fee amounting to Rs. 1000/- (Applicable for all categories) through NET banking/Credit card /Debit Card using online gateway mode only. Cheque//Demand draft will not be accepted All the original certificates and mark sheets must be brought at the time of the reporting at the College/counseling. Issue of Admit Card: The admit card will not be sent to the candidates by post. The candidate has to download admit card from the website of the University. ELIGIBILITY (A) Residential (i) The candidate must have studied for last three years of qualifying examination continuously as a regular candidate in a recognized Institution in Rajasthan. OR (ii) Natural Father/Mother of the candidate has been continuously residing in Rajasthan for a period of last 10 years and the candidate has studied for at least 5 years during this period in a recognized educational institution in Rajasthan. RO (iii) The candidate must be a bona fide resident of Rajasthan. He / She may be presently studying in any of the States other than Rajasthan. OR (iv) The candidate is a son/daughter of serving or retired employee of (a) Govt. of Rajasthan including Officer of All India Services Born on the State Cadre of Rajasthan (b) Undertaking Corporation/Improvement Trust / Municipal Bodies duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan by an act of Law or (c ) any of the Universities in Rajasthan or Secondary Board of Education, Rajasthan provided that employee has worked in Rajasthan for three years preceding the last date of submission of the application. OR (v) Candidate is a son /daughter of a permanent or retired employee of State Cadre of Rajasthan or Indian Defense Service and the employee is either of Rajasthan Origin irrespective of his place of posting or is posted in Rajasthan at the time of last date of the application for admission provided that in case the defense personnel is of the Rajasthan origin, a certificate has to be submitted by him from the employer to the effect that his state of origin is Rajasthan at the time of his entry in to service. OR (vi) Candidate is a son / daughter of permanent (serving/retired) employee of Para-Military forces of India and The employee is either of Rajasthan origin irrespective of his place of posting or is posted in Rajasthan at the time of last date of application for admission provided that in case of Para-Military personnel from the Rajasthan origin, a certificate has to be submitted by him from the employer to the effect that his state of origin is Rajasthan at the time of his entry in to service. OR (vii) Candidate is a son/daughter of a judge of Rajasthan High court subjected to that He / She submits an undertaking / affidavit stating that such benefit is not claimed or availed by him in any state. Note: (i) (ii) (iii) The relevant certificates which are the basis of eligibility of the candidate will have to be furnished by the candidate at the time of reporting/ counseling in the college. The residence certificate wherever required will have to be duly signed by the district magistrate of the concerned district. In case of serving personnel, where service conditions have resulted in to eligibility, a certificate of the employer will have to be submitted by the candidate. (B) Academic: M.V.Sc. Admissions to M.V.Sc. programme are made through a competitive Pre Post Graduate Test conducted by RAJUVAS at the time and place announced by the Controller of Examination/Coordinator, Pre-PG Test. The minimum eligibility for a candidate who fulfils the residential requirements to appear in this test is given below: (i) The candidate must have passed B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree examination of RAJUVAS, Bikaner, or an examination declared equivalent to it with not less than 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage (i.e. 60%) of marks for general category candidates and 5.50/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage (i.e. 55%) of marks for OBC/SC/ST/SBC category candidates. (ii) The following categories are exempted from appearing in Pre-PG Test for admission to M.V.Sc. a) b) c) d) Seats reserved under ICAR nominee Candidates who have qualified for JRF of ICAR/foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOI. Field extension functionaries deputed by Government of Rajasthan In-service candidates of RAJUVAS and/ or considered as “in the service of the university” (RAJUVAS) by the university. However, they will be required to fulfill academic qualifications M.Sc. The candidate for admission to M.Sc.( Animal Biotechnology) must have passed B.Sc. (Biology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences)degree examination or an examination declared equivalent to it with not less than 6.00 out of 10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks(i.e.60%) for general category candidates and 5.50/10 OGPA/equivalent percentage(i.e. 55%) of marks for OBC/SC/ST/SBC category candidates. Their admission shall be made based on their merit of B.Sc. degree and interview and they are not required to appear in PRE PG TEST. They should directly report on the day of the counseling along with required original documents with proof of fee deposition. Such Candidates are exempted from Pre-PG Test and unfilled seats will be added to state seats to be filled by the Pre PG qualified candidates. Note: Admission will be made subject to the availability of manpower and funds and as per decision of the University at the time of admission. Therefore, seats can be increased or decreased in any discipline subject to the decision of the University in this regard. If the list of Pre PG qualified candidate is exhausted before filling all the seats, the vacant seats may be filled purely on the basis of merit of qualifying degree examination. RESERVATION (i) The reservation of seats for SC/ST/SBC/OBC/PH and others will be as per rules of Government of Rajasthan as applicable to Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner (ii) Reservation quota is determined on the basis of combined intake in all subjects of the faculty and not subject wise following the roster system. Subject choice will be given on the basis of his/her order of choice and position in the roster . PRE P.G. TEST- 2014-15 SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND SYLLABUS In the very nature of competitive examination no syllabus can be prescribed. It is an exercise to pick up the best. However for guidance to the candidates the syllabus and the standard of the Entrance Test will be that of B.V.Sc. & A.H standard prescribed by Veterinary Council of India (Regulation 2008) and adopted by Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner. Therefore, no grievance of candidates regarding this issue shall be entertained. The question paper will consist of multiple choice objective type questions. The question paper will be in the form of a test booklet containing 100 questions bearing number 1,2,3…..100.There would be four suggested answers (A,B,C,D) to each question. The candidates are required to choose and write the correct answer at the provided space. The test booklet will be collected from the students at the end of the examination. Three marks will be awarded for every correct answer. The answer sheet of the test shall not be subject to production before any court (civil or criminal) or before the candidate or anybody else on his behalf or before any internal or external authority. Merit of candidates will be notified on university website. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE GUIDANCE OF THE CANDIDATES 1. The examination will be held as per schedule given. The doors will be opened before the commencement of the examination and will be closed immediately on start of examination. No candidates shall be admitted to examination hall after 15 minutes of commencement of examination. 2. A seat marked with Roll Number will be allotted to each candidate. The candidate should ensure that he / she occupies the allotted seat only. Any candidate discovered to have occupied the seat of another candidate shall be turned out from the examination and also have to accept any other penalty imposed on him/her by the centre superintendent. 3. Candidates are required to bring their own ball point pens for answering their question papers. They are not allowed to carry any textual material, rewritten or printed, bits of papers, photocopy of admit card, envelop or any other material except the original Admit Card inside the examination hall. Cellular/mobile phone/calculator/side rules/log table/laptop or any other electronic gadgets etc. are strictly prohibited in the examination hall. The candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items to the venue of the examination as arrangement for their safe keeping cannot be assured. 4. Candidates should carefully read the instructions and the questions given in the question paper booklet before they begin to write their 5. answers. The question paper will be set in English. 6. No second question paper booklet shall be given. 7. Soon after the question paper booklet is given to the candidate, he/she should ensure within 10 minutes of the issue of question paper booklet that it contains all the pages and no question is missing. If there is any discrepancy, he/she should point out at once to the invigilator. 8. Before attempting the answers, the candidate shall write his/her roll number, date etc. at the place provided for the purpose on the testbooklet. The candidate should choose and write the correct answer at the space provided for the purpose in the booklet itself otherwise his/her answer will not be evaluated. 9. The candidate should not write his/her name or mark any sign/mark on any place in the test booklet or answer sheet which may disclose his/her identity. Non-compliance of this rule shall be punishable as per rules for unfair means. 10. No candidates shall leave his/her seat during examination without the permission of the invigilator in charge. 11. During the course of examination, the candidate shall be under the discipline and control of the centre superintendent and shall abide by the instructions issued during the examination by the invigilators or the centre superintendent. 12. The candidate shall not leave the examination room finally until he/she has handed over his/her test booklet to the invigilator. 13. Candidate found acting in a manner, which in the opinion of the invigilator, is liable to give unfair advantage to another candidate, and shall be forthwith suspended from the examination by the centre superintendent. 14. The invigilators, the flying squad and the examination supervisory staff shall be competent to take search of any candidate to find out whether the candidate possesses any objectionable material. Refusal by the candidate to be searched would raise the presumption that he/she is in possession of objectionable material. A candidate possessing objectionable material or resisting search shall be punishable as per rules concerning unfair means 15. Candidate resorting to use of unfair means shall be turned out of the examination hall/room and the examination shall be treated as cancelled as a whole. The centre supervisory staff shall be judge to determine whether unfair means have been resorted to. He will submit the report stating full facts of the case of unfairness to the controller/coordinator of examinations for further necessary action. 16. Urinals for use of examinees shall be provided at the centre and every examinee shall be required to use one of those urinals only for this candidate shall not leave the examination room without the permission of the invigilator. 17. Smoking and other intoxicants are strictly prohibited in the examination hall/room. 18. Use of the calculators and slide rules is not permissible. 19. Candidate should note carefully that there will be no re-evaluation of the test booklet. 20. Merit of the candidates will be displayed / uploaded on University website. ALLOTMENT OF SUBJECT AND PLACE OF STUDY The centralized admission of various programmes will be done strictly on the basis of merit cum reservation as applicable. The candidates eligible for counseling will be asked their option and entertained only for that subjects/College/Institute for which the vacancy is available at the time of their counseling. Candidate securing equal marks in the pre-P.G. entrance test will be admitted in the following order of preference: (I) One who has secured more marks in the Bachelor’s Degree examination or its equivalent examination. (ii) Among candidates securing equal marks in the Bachelor’s Degree Examination or its equivalent examination candidates securing more marks in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination will be given preference. The University reserves the right to admit or reject admission of any candidate without assigning any reason. Admission of the candidates who have passed qualifying examination from a University of the state other than Rajasthan will be provisional, till the eligibility certificate is issued by the University. If for reason to be recorded in writing the admission committee suspects that a particular candidate has obtained a certificate by mis-representing facts, matter will be referred to the concerned D.M. On receipt of the enquiry report, the admission committee would take the final decision regarding the admission of the candidate. Document not found confirming to requirement may lead to disqualification. The candidate failing to report in the college on stipulated date will not be further entertained and his total amount of fees will be forfeited. Note: 1. Please note that mere fulfillment of a minimum requirement for a particular class does not give a candidate right to admission. 2. The university also reserves the right to deny admission to candidate without assigning any reason whatsoever. 3. Candidates found admitted on the false statement or false evidence of any kind will render themselves to dismissal from the college at any time. 4. Following candidates shall not be eligible for admission: i. Against whom criminal case/proceeding is pending. ii. Who have been convicted of criminal offence or released on bail. iii. Who have indulged in misbehavior? iv. Against whom an FIR has been lodged by University/Constituent college authorities. 5. Hostel accommodation is limited and candidates may not be given admission and in that case they should make their own arrangement. 6. Reservations will be given as per rules of Government of Rajasthan. 7. Signature of parent /Guardian in certificate is to be verified by Gazetted Officer.
