Jim Emmett has over 40 years experience in small business.
This first-hand involvement ensures his advice is practical and
up to date. Jim has studied the small business culture and
economy in the USA and South Australia. Jim delivered the
AusIndustry Small Business Field Officer program throughout
South Australia.

Mike Norman established his own Management and
Marketing Consultancy and over 20 years, gained extensive
experience working with small business as a Marketing
Consultant, a Business Adviser with the Small Business
Corporation, a Mentor to small to medium businesses and a
Business Coach, conducting programs on behalf of the
Department of Trade and Economic Development.

Philip Arnfield operated his own Chartered Accounting
practice for 28 years, specialising in helping small business
owners develop their business and improve profitability. Philip
is a Chartered Accountant, qualified trainer, and has a degree
in Economics (commerce major).

Tom Doman owns and operates Doman Lawyers. He
graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1981 and was
admitted to practice in 1982. He spent a number of years
practicing in the Northern Territory including as a Crown
Prosecutor. Tom returned to Adelaide in 1989 to practice and
has specialised in all aspects of business law and commercial
litigation since that time.

Tony Rossiter invented, manufactured and sold the louvre
system, Vergola, Prince Phillip Prize winner, for 14 years. He
is a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in boat
building, fabrication, plastics, electronics and building. Tony is
a Member and Inventors Association, he mentors and advises
on product development, manufacture and product protection.

Chris Campbell owns and manages Visually Consulting,
giving visual consultancy around branding, identity, social
media management and predominately video production. Chris
has studied Communications and Media Management and has
worked for Channel 9 and Current Affair for 3 years. Chris has
worked in the community, government and private sectors, and
brings the experience of all to his work.

Ltd (Professional Consultants, IT Solutions). Tina is a qualified
bookkeeper and BAS Agent who can assist you in all facets of

Commercial Property Centre. Having worked in commercial
and industrial real estate for 19 years, he accumulated a
wealth of knowledge and experience that will enable him to
effectively assist Members with commercial or industrial

Ben Thomas, Branch Sales Manager for Kuehne + Nagel, the
world’s largest Freight Forwarding Company. After 19 years in
Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Shipping Industry, Ben relocated
to SA from the London Office. Ben will be a great asset for
BEC members who need assistance with Import/Export
processes, Customs Clearance, Shipping and Terms of Sale
for International Trade.
Garry O’Shea With over 37 years experience in the Banking
industry working across 3 major banks (including Head of
Business Banking CBA, in South Australia for over 6 years) he
has an in depth understanding of what is fair market pricing,
appropriate products, and how to assist clients in ensuring that
they have the best possible financial arrangements.
Robert Tebeck has over 30 years experience as a Safety
Professional and WHS Manager in the Mining and
Construction Industries. Robert brings extensive WHS/OHS
knowledge to the BEC including designing and implementing
Safety Management Plans.
