on Mystic Tide at noon. Enjoy a warm welcome,

on arrival. Hamilton Island is celebrated for its
famous beaches and majestic bushland. Relax in the
turquoise shallows or explore unspoilt nature trails.
If you have a passion for golf take this opportunity
to tee off at the spectacularly located 18-hole course
that Hamilton Island boasts. Boutique shopping is
also available before you retreat back to Mystic Tide your lavishly equip home for the next week. Journey
to Chance Bay on Whitsunday Island for our first
overnight anchorage. Indulge in a seafood feast for
dinner caught by the crew in the surrounding waters
and a clear sky for star gazing on deck.
Awake to being surrounded by one of the world’s
greatest aquatic playgrounds - the Whitsundays.
Chance Bay is a double bay with two beautiful
sand beaches. The year round warm waters make a
morning swim irresistible. We arrive in Turtle Bay
for scrumptious breakfast. After the excitement of
snorkeling with turtles and a tremendous variety
of colorful tropical fish we arrive at Whitehaven
Beach. An incredible expanse of pure white sand,
Whitehaven is the legacy of a geologic era when
the sea level was lower. It is a magnificent beach, a
mecca of the Whitsunday Islands and one that is
understandably popular with all. We take a gourmet
picnic lunch on the Whitehaven Beach where we
spend the afternoon. Watch the afternoon sun on
the silica sands before anchoring in Whitehaven’s
protected southern corner. Here you can watch the
moon light up the silica.
Enjoy a healthy breakfast of fresh tropical fruit before
cruising to Nara Inlet. The prehistoric Whitsunday
islands were well respected by the indigenous Ngaro
people. You can explore Aboriginal cave paintings
and take in amazing views of the inlet. Nearby
Macona inlet is vast with numerous sand beaches and
bush walking tracks to explore. After the morning
exploration take this opportunity to enjoy a massage
in the privacy of the gymnasium, scented with
aromatherapy candles, music and oils from the local
region. Anchorage tonight is at Hook Island - the
second largest island after Whitsunday Island, and is
made up of spectacular national park and fabulous
beaches. At dusk turtles often pop up beside the boat.
Feast from the teppanyaki grill and be entertained
by the illuminated underwater lights attracting huge
grouper, sharks and schools of trevally at the back of
the yacht all night.
For the early risers snorkel with the turtles of
Butterfly Bay, the snorkeling here is some of the
best in the Whitsundays. Hayman Island is the
northernmost Whitsunday Island and is only four
square kilometers. There are a number of small coves
and coral beaches that surround you, making it a
fantastic place for scuba diving. The northern side of
Hayman Island is Blue Pearl Bay, a lovely expanse of
bay with beautiful beaches and teaming sea life. Blue
Pearl offers some of the best diving and snorkeling
off Castle Rock and Dolphin Point. Today we have
the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of fishing
from Mystic Tide’s comfortable custom sorts fisher
“Halblak” launched 007 style from the main aft deck.
Later dip in the yachts jacuzzi spa before a simple but
elegant dinner on the boat.
Time to relax on the delightful Hayman Island
allows you to indulge in pampering, watersports
and fishing. We journey to South Molle Island in the
afternoon. South Molle is loved by sun seekers who
come for the relaxing South Seas atmosphere and
the palm-fringed beach with its sheltered waters.
The island offers over 400 hectares of national park
to explore with beaches, bays and great views from
Mt Jeffrey’s. Golfing enthusiasts will be delighted
with the golf course complete with vistas of the
Coral Sea. Indulge in a wonderful “reef and beef ”
feast at the teppanyaki grill later that evening.
Enjoy an early arrival to picturesque Long Island
with its varying colours and landforms. The island
lies close to the mainland, most of it is national park
and there are walks along wooded slopes to deserted
beaches. There are over 20 kilometres of enchanting
bushwalking tracks on Long Island offering some of
the prettiest hiking in the Whitsunday Islands. The
surrounding waters are perfect for an afternoon of
kayaking, fishing or simply stay on board sipping
fresh cocktails and take in the breathtaking scenery.
After dinner, a late evening departure for a journey
to Lindeman Island where we will enjoy sunrise.
For abundant native bird life, royal green landscapes
and valleys filled with butterflies we take a short
breakfast sail to Lindeman Island. Some of the
most marvellous graded walking tracks through
vine forests lead you to views of the Whitsunday
islands. Refresh yourself in a freshwater pool and
enjoy a picnic of damper and tea along the walk. A
late afternoon picnic of damper and tea on the white
island sandy shores is a unique cultural experience
to Australia so few will ever have the chance to
experience. You may see a pod of dolphins playing in
the surrounding waters. Music and cocktails on the
bridge deck as the sun sets uninterrupted over the
coastline.
