PCYS Honors Donors and Volunteers at Annual Appreciation Dinner Payne County Youth Services honored donors and volunteers recently at an event held at Countryside Church, with dinner provided by Texas Roadhouse. An annual celebration of the many ways in which donors and volunteers support the agency and the youth and families it serves, guests enjoyed a great meal and received updates on the agency programming. They were also able to take home a token as a reminder that we “can all make a difference” when everyone works collaboratively toward the agency mission. “We are very grateful to each donor and The United Methodist Women enjoying dinner volunteer for the many ways they support PCYS,” said Janet Fultz, executive director. “Our message tonight included not only the outputs of our programming, such as over 400 youth served in counseling, 3,392 shelter care days provided to children and youth, and the over 16,000 hours of community development and education provided during Fiscal Year 2014, but also insight into outcomes – the youth who lived a full life having received the crisis intervention that kept them from taking their own life one dark night, or the children and youth rescued from unsafe homes by being A group from Sigma Nu with their Outstanding placed in our Collegiate Award shelter.” “We offer our most sincere thank you to all donors and volunteers,” continued Fultz, “from small to large financial donations to donations of cat food, volunteer time and clothing. Each supporter makes a positive difference for our children, families and communities. We invite others who would like to support PCYS to contact us.
