Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and the
makings for a Happy New Year! We had a
wonderful
Christmas
Eve
Service at Grace with 105
people in attendance. We did a program called
“The People and Places of the Nativity.” The
people who participated did an excellent job of
reading the Scriptures and singing the Christmas
message. We are blessed to have so many talented
members at Grace Church. Gerald and I take this
opportunity to say thank you for all the beautiful cards and gifts we
received this Christmas.
I give thanks for another year of ministry with and among you. Many
of you have labored long and hard beside me in 2014. May God
continue to bless and use us for the building of his kingdom. There is
still much work to be done.
I have this wonderful new movie put out by the Billy Graham
Evangelistic Association that I would like to show at the church this
winter. It is titled, “Heaven” and is
labeled as My Hope with Billy Graham.
In the film Billy Graham states the fact
that the one who gets wisdom gets life.
The movie is centered around the
testimonies
of
a
fireman
from
California, a young woman from
Nevada whose father was murdered
and the life of Billy Graham. The
central question of the movie is this,
“Are you ready for heaven?” This
movie gives death a new dimension
that we all need to take seriously.
Please let me know if you would be interested in seeing this film.
I think we all need hope to get us through these perilous days in which
we are living. There is so much going on that is scary without the
peace of God to keep us steady. No matter what you may be going
through you do not have to walk alone. God in Christ Jesus offers us
the hope that we need to sustain us. 2015 can be the best year of your
life with Christ by your side.
I look forward to new and exciting things happening among God’s
people. Step out in faith and see what God might do through you!
Peace and
Blessings,

MISSIONS:
Well it is time for a well needed rest and I need to get rid of this
lingering Sinus/head cold. Little Grace Kids has been
very busy through the month of December. The Total to
date is 1168 kids!! We have been quite busy on the
Needs and Seeds FaceBook program as well; we have
helped over 40 families by filling needs and delivering
clothing when necessary. We also responded to
several calls from organizations by filling needs and
delivering when necessary. We had a couple of homeless ladies come
looking for shelter. Little Grace was able to help them with some
extra clothing. Little Grace was able to provide these kind ladies
with a bowl of hot soup and a drink. Pastor Betty Jo and Lisa gave
them a plate of Christmas cookies to munch on while they sat and ate
their soup and they got their bellies full! We loaded them up with
snacks to take with them to the Presbyterian Church for Shelter. So
happy that we were able to help them! God is Good! It was a
fantastic and very busy month but so happy to see all the happy
children with the wonderful donated toys! Thank you all so so much
for the soups, clothing, toys and batteries! Little Grace could not have
done it all without you!!! God Bless You!!

Wesley UMC is still in need of food for their food closet. Let’s donate some food and
help them fill it up. The more food we donate to them the more people they can
serve (The homeless, people less fortunate, ones who have lost their jobs, lost their
homes etc.)
As the Christmas season swept
in this year, several of Grace’s
more stalwart singers dropped
in on some of our homebound
for caroling sessions. Pictured

by his autoharp, along with
Pastor Betty Jo, Belinda
Cyback, Kay Mumford, Barb

brought musical cheer to Doris
Rogers, who is convalescing.
