Mr Tim Markwell appointed Non-executive Director The Company is pleased to advise that Mr Tim Markwell will join the Celamin board with immediate effect. Mr Markwell is the Investment Manager of prominent mineral resources investment fund African Lion, and has previously sat on the Board of Celamin. African Lion is a major shareholder in Celamin, with a 33% shareholding, and as such it is considered appropriate for him to re-join the Board at this time. Tim is a qualified geologist with 20 years’ experience in the resource sector, including senior technical roles with BHP Billiton, Golder Associates and Minara Resources. He has specific expertise in resource assessment and was involved in feasibility studies for a number of Australian resources projects. Tim joined African Lion in February 2007. Prior to this he held roles as a resources/investment analyst with a broking firm and then a listed investment fund. He graduated with an honours degree in geology from the University of Western Australia in 1993, and has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA 1 Sue-Ann Higgins appointed Alternate Director for Mr Russell Luxford For personal use only Celamin also advises that Ms Sue-Ann Higgins has been appointed an Alternate Director to NonExecutive Director Mr Russell Luxford with immediate effect. The appointment has the approval of the Company’s other Directors. Ms Higgins will attend any meeting of Directors Mr Luxford is unable to attend and also undertake Director duties as required during the time Mr Luxford is not available. The appointment will continue until Mr Luxford revokes it or until he ceases to be a Director, whichever occurs first. Ms Higgins is an experienced company executive with more than 25 years in the mining industry. She has a diversified skill set and global corporate experience, and has held senior legal and commercial roles with ARCO Coal Australia Inc, WMC Resources Limited, Oxiana Limited and Citadel Resource Group Limited. Ms Higgins has extensive experience in governance and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and mineral exploration, development and operations. She currently holds executive roles with a number of private mining and exploration ventures and provides consulting services to several resources companies. Ms Higgins holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees, is a chartered company secretary and a graduate of the AICD International Company Directors Course. Appointment of Mr Stephen Nossal as Business Development Executive The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Stephen Nossal to the newly created position of Business Development Executive, effective from [date]. Mr Nossal has more than 20 years experience in the Australian resources and finance industries, most recently as Senior Vice President - Corporate Development for Chinova Resources Pty Ltd (previously known as Ivanhoe Australia). He also has significant experience in corporate finance and investment banking, including senior roles at Macquarie Group and Goldman Sachs JBWere. Mr Nossal brings substantial experience in capital raising, business development, external relations and working with project development teams on the feasibility of resource projects to his role with Celamin. He will be based in the Company’s Melbourne office and will be a key member of its senior management team, reporting directly to managing director Nic Clift. The project comprises six prospects over a total area of 56km2. Celamin holds the Chaketma Phosphate Permit with its Tunisian partner Tunisian Mining Services (TMS). The project currently has a total JORC compliant Inferred Resource of 130Mt @ 20.5% P2O5. The Resources inventory comprises a JORC compliant Inferred Resource of 93Mt @ 20.3% P₂O₅ at the Gassa Kebira prospect, and a JORC compliant Inferred Resource of 37Mt @ 21% P₂O₅ at the Kef El Louz North prospect. Only drilling at these two prospects is included in the current Resource statement The Kef El Louz prospect is the largest of the prospects within the Chaketma project area. It is approximately six kilometres from north to south, and covers an area of more than three square kilometres. Mapping, trenching and drilling at the north-western corner of the Kef El Louz prospect has confirmed that this area has the potential to meet grade, as well as metallurgical and strip ratio criteria. Gassaa Kebira is the northernmost prospect. It has an elongate shape and spans approximately 2.6km north-south and 0.9km east-west, over a surface area of 2.36km2. Celamin is focused on completing a Definitive Feasibility Study at the Chaketma Project as its next stage in the project’s development. Ongoing exploration at the project consists of mapping, drilling and channel sampling across all prospects – including the Gassa Kebira, Sidi Ali Ben Oum Ezzine, Kef EL Louz and Douar Ouled Hamouda prospects. 3 For personal use only Chaketma Phosphate Project location. 4
