By: Kristina Bartosh, Freshman The week of Jan. 26-30th is Spirit week at Stacey, which includes preparation for the pep rally, homecoming games and homecoming dance which takes place on Saturday, Jan. 31st. throughout the chaotic week, in which everyone is running around finishing up last minute, all of the students from grades 7th through 12th dressed up each day accordingly. On Monday, students dressed in camouflage to show we’re military children. On Tuesday, students partnered up with a friend or sibling for twin day. Way-back-Wednesday consisted of everyone dressing as either a Greaser or a Soc, a reference to S. E. Hinton’s “The Outsiders”. Thursday students was ‘neon’ day and on Friday everyone will show their school spirit by wearing red, white, and blue. The Stacey pep rally is Friday @ 2:40 in the gym, followed by basketball games vs. Brackett. The homecoming dance will be in the cafeteria on Saturday from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. Even with the chaos and stress for homecoming, we still have enough time to show school spirit and have a little fun.
