Suicide and Euthanasia: Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 9:00am to 12:00pm

Road, Halifax. A number of presenters
will explore this important issue. They
include: Sr. Nuala Kenny, SC; Deacon
Larry Worthen; John O’Donnell (L’Arche
Canada). Archbishop Anthony Mancini
will provide a summation and his closing
thoughts at the end of the morning. Lunch
will be served at 12pm for those who
would like to stay and continue the discussion. If staying for lunch please

The Annapolis Valley Honour Choir’s
annual musical café fundraiser,
“Sweets for the Sweet” will be held on
Sunday, February 15th, 2:00 p.m. at the
Louis Millet Community Centre. Guests will
be treated to an afternoon of soulful singing and decadent desserts. Entertainment will include the AVHC’s Junior Choir,
and a variety of talents will be showcased by
the choristers! Tickets are $15 and $10 for
students and include drinks and dessert. ($5
from every $15 ticket goes to support the
Junior Choir’s exchange this spring to British
Columbia). Tickets are available in advance
from choir members, or Pharmasave locations in Kentville and Wolfville.
