Taking Pride in Your
Church Facilities!
A joyful and grateful Thank you to those who
have already come forward to help with the
Church Facility and Equipment Needs!
While these facilities are a true blessing they
are also aging. Things break down, some
things just wear down, and some things just
fade away! Please be aware that that we are
looking for ways to clean up, spruce up,
brighten up, and lift up the functionality and
aesthetics of the Coquina facilities so that all
the worship and ministry will be made better
in all ways possible!
Be on the lookout as we look to make this a
brighter and more functional place for
everyone—and don’t be afraid to ask what
you can do to help either with your hands,
your mind, or your financial support!
Call the church office and we can arrange to
make you a part of the clean up, spruce up,
and brighten up team!

2015—The Year of Transforming
Ourselves by the Renewing Our Minds!
Brothers! 2015 is upon us and let us commit
ourselves to making this year a banner year for
the men of Coquina. To be ever focused upon
transforming our lives, at home, at church, and
out in the world, showing the truth, love, and
grace of Jesus Christ to this corrupt culture!
As our culture continues to assail the Biblical
model ordained by God Himself, we must be
ever vigilant in understanding what God
commands from us and how to recognize and
hold captive the world’s teaching and
manipulation so that we may be men of the
Word… until we all attain to the unity of the
faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
to mature manhood, to the measure of the
stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we
may no longer be children, tossed to and fro
by the waves and carried about by every wind
of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness
in deceitful schemes.

Inspired by Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul gave detailed
instructions and a somber warning to each of us regarding the
danger of partaking of the Lord’s Supper in an “un-worthy”
manner. The way Paul instructs us to prevent this is through a
careful examination of our lives with respect to both our
relationship with the Lord and our relationships with others—
especially within the household of God. Read these important
instructions as you prepare for The Lord’s Supper next week.
23
For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to
you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took
bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and
said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in
remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he
took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my
blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of
me.”26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this
cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. 27
Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the
Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning
against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 A man ought to
examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of
the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without
recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment
on himself. 30 That is why many among you are weak and
sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. 31 But if we
judged ourselves, we would not come under judgment. 32
When we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined
so that we will not be condemned with the world. 33 So
then, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for
each other. 34 If anyone is hungry, he should eat at home,
so that when you meet together it may not result in
judgment. And when I come I will give further directions.

PASTORAL PRAYER
Congregation:
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and Earth.
THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father
Almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the
dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen
