A Grade Qualifying Meet Sunday 15th February 2015 This is an A Grade Qualifying Meet, Sanctioned by Swimming Queensland. The times will be recognised as official qualifying times for Australian, Queensland and Brisbane Events. Venue Albany Creek Leisure Centre, Corner of Old Northern Road & Explorer Drive, Albany Creek. Session Times Session One: Warm-up: 7.00 am Competition Start: 8.30 am Session Two: Estimated start 12.00 noon Timing for afternoon session will be provided after all nominations have been received. Age Entries Close Age as at 15 February 2015. nd Monday 2 February 2015. Late entries will only be accepted with a fee of $20.00 if a spare lane is available and a cash payment can be paid on the day. Nominating clubs are responsible for ensuring that all competitors are registered with SQ and that all details are current and correct. Entries must be submitted via your club’s Carnival/Race Secretary (entries directly from individuals will not be accepted). Team Manager entries must be emailed to [email protected] including the TM file, Entry Report and Entry Fee Report. Hard copies of these reports to accompany full payment. Nomination Fees Timing TM Nominations - $5.00 per event Paper Nominations - $6.00 per event Semi-automatic timing system will be used. Three timekeepers per lane. Clubs nominate on the condition that they assist with timekeeping during the day. Awards: Medals will be awarded as follows:11 & under and 12 &over events – 3 fastest place getters in each event in the following age groups ( 8 yrs and under, 9 yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs, 14yrs, 15yrs and 16 and older) Open events– fastest 3 place getters in each event regardless of age. Medals must be collected on the day of carnival as they will not be available after the carnival nor will they be posted out. Pool Entry Food Programs Spectators - $3.00 Competitors, Coaches & children free. Drinks and food available all day from Club BBQ & Leisure Centre Café. Programs will be available for sale at the meet.
