protection, the NetXtend™ EBRE Battery Enclosure
delivers ample battery reserve for your remote cable hub
site in case of power grid failure.
Description
The NetXtend™ EBRE Battery Enclosure is an extended battery reserve enclosure that
provides a stable environment for battery backup in the event of a commercial AC
power failure. The system can be configured to provide 1180 amp hours in a -48 VDC
configuration, while maintaining battery temperatures at 25 °C.
Thermal control options are included to help extend battery life and optimize battery
performance. Power density is maximized within this condensed footprint, reducing
site-leasing costs. The cabinet can be platform, pad or grate-mounted.
This versatile system is designed to grow with reserve time needs and is tailored to
meet the local requirements of the region.
Application
The NetXtend™ EBRE model is a compact outdoor battery cabinet designed for use at
remote cable hub sites. This enclosure provides large battery reserve times in -48 VDC
configurations, freeing up critical infrastructure space within the cable hub.
