IOWA WILD REPORT – JANUARY 28, 2015
The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, went 0-3-0 in three games last week. The Wild lost its first
match of the week, 1-0, against the Rockford IceHogs on Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena (1/22). G John Curry stopped 41-of42 shots. Iowa suffered a 4-3 loss against Milwaukee on Friday at BMO Harris Bradley Center (1/23). F Tyler Graovac led the
Wild with two points (1-1=2) while F Zack Mitchell and D Matt Dumba each tallied a goal. G Johan Gustafsson made 16
saves. The Wild fell, 4-3, on Saturday against the Grand Rapids Griffins at Van Andel Arena (1/24). Graovac registered his
second multi-point game of the week (1-1=2). Mitchell and F Kurtis Gabriel netted a goal apiece while Curry made 26-of-30
saves. Dumba represented Iowa in the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic Jan. 25-26 in Utica. He tallied two assists and a plus-4 rating
in Monday’s AHL All-Star Game as the West won 14-12 over the East. Graovac leads the Wild in scoring with 31 points (1516=31) in 40 games. Keranen ranks second with 28 points (6-22=28) and C Jordan Schroeder ranks third with 26 points (1016=26). Gustafsson is 7-16-1 with a 3.39 GAA and a .896 SV% in 26 games. Curry is 8-9-0 with a 2.70 GAA and a .919 SV%
in 19 games. The Wild plays three homes games this week hosting Grand Rapids (Thurs.) and Hamilton (Fri. and Sat.).
