Through ordinary and simple actions, we strive to teach and spread the Catholic faith, leading all to know God in a personal and loving way. In the celebration of the Eucharist, the parish community receives energy to care for the needs of all people through acts of kindness and love. 4th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME Parishioners, Our first reading today foretells the coming of the Messiah as one sent by God. From Deuteronomy until the time of Jesus there were numerous centuries. God’s people had to be patient to receive the promised Messiah. When Jesus came, our Gospel tells us that He spoke with authority. Certainly His message coming from God, was one that was different than all those who came before Him. We still hear that message today. Sometimes it is hard to understand and sometimes we need patience to see God’s will in our lives. We continually need to ask God for that patience and for our openness to His will in our lives. Fr.
