In an effort to make both Family Council and Family Support Group as beneficial as possible, we will be generating an online survey to better understand your wants and needs as related to these programs (look for it in your email). For families who are new to Beacon Pointe, we have defined both meetings below. Family Council: Family Council is an opportunity for family members to come together to discuss building matters. Any comments or concerns related to goings on in the building can be discussed and addressed. Topics can include dining, nursing, activities, housekeeping, and anything else the families would like to talk about. Family Support Group: Family Support Group meetings are a time for families who are going through similar circumstances to gather together, with the support of a qualified staff person, to offer each other encouragement, comfort, and advise. This is a safe space for discussion and a great place to ask for resources. Louise W. 2/11 Diane F. 2/13 Latte T.
