BISHOP’S DAY, March 21, 2015
For youth discerning call to ministry and their pastors from 1:30-4pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Charlottesville, VA.
No advanced registration required.
Youth Assembly, June 2015
Noon Friday through noon Sunday for 7th through 12th graders, held at Roanoke College.
Each congregation of the Synod is invited to send two delegates to the Youth Assembly.
Bishop’s School, June 2015
For youth having completed grades 11 or 12 by June 2015. Event designed for in-depth study and group discussion of basic theological
tenets of the Christian Faith, as well as participate in reflection, worship, and service projects. Must be nominated by a parish pastor or lay
rostered leader from an ELCA home congregation. Bishop’s School is held at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC.
Kairos, June 21-26 2015
For rising 9th through 12th graders, held at Roanoke College. Application forms available starting February 4th, 2015 at noon and due back
to the Synod office by March 16, 2015. Capacity is Limited!
LAUNCH, July 5-9 2015
For just graduated high school seniors, held at Roanoke College. Registration deadline is June 15th, 2015.
The ELCA Churchwide Youth Gathering is
July 15 through 19 in Detroit Michigan.
