La semana pasada, la clase de 4 º grado de la señora Rainwater
celebro Días en una Misión, retrocediendo el tiempo para experimentar la vida cotidiana dentro de una misión. El Padre
Bill comenzó el día con Misa. Hablo en Inglés, Latín y Español. Los estudiantes procedieron a participar en diversas actividades como haciendo canastas, fabricación de la vela y
moler maíz. Gracias a la señora Rainwater, padres voluntarios
y al padre de Bill por ayudar a crear una experiencia educativa
inolvidable.


Visita de Abuelos
Esta semana, los estudiantes de primer grado disfrutaron de
una visita muy especial de sus abuelos que compartieron su
tiempo leyendo libros y contando historias con los ellos.


Día de Acción de Gracias: 61 parcelas que contienen vegetales enlatados, sopas, arroz, frijoles y
pasta, cereal; 3 cajas de diferentes vegetales enlatados, sopa, atún; 1 canasta llena de una variedad
de alimentos y 8 multi-paks se recolectaron en la Misa de
acción de gracias! Unespecial agradecimiento a las personas que dejaron su donación de alimentos en la oficina
de la iglesia antes de salir fuera de la ciudad.
Thanksgiving Day food collection results: 61 parcels containing canned vegetables,
soup, rice, beans and pasta, cereal; 3 boxes of
various canned vegetables, soup, tuna; 1 large
laundry basket full of a variety of
food, and 8 multi-paks were collected at our Thanksgiving Day Mass! A very Special thanks to those persons
who dropped off their food donation at the Church office before going out of town.
Mission Days
Last week, Mrs. Rainwater's 4th grade class celebrated
Mission Days by stepping back in time to experience daily
life inside the mission. Fr. Bill began the day with Mass,
spoke in English, Latin, and Spanish, then the students
proceeded to participate in various activities such as basket weaving, candle making, and corn grinding. Thanks
to Mrs. Rainwater, parent volunteers, and Fr. Bill for
helping to create such a memorable educational experience.
Grandparent Visit
First grade enjoyed a special visit from their grandparents
this week who shared their time reading books and telling
stories with the students.
