A note from Sharing Our Daily Bread Ministry - Taking mercy out to our community…
The week before the closing of our Door of Mercy, you were invited to bring food and/or clothing items,
sleeping bags, and toiletries, for our brothers and sisters that are experiencing food insecurity and those
who are homeless.
And, you replied whole heartily by putting your faith into action and demonstrating your concern and
commitment in your generous response of food, monetary donations, and items for the homeless.
The results were 109 parcels, 6 baskets, 7 boxes that included canned vegetables, meat products, tuna,
soup, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter and other nutritious food plus a turkey! There
was also a tremendous response to the request for the needs of those without shelter.
The food collection and monetary donations went to Catholic Charities for distribution to those in
need of food assistance. The Stockton Homeless Shelter is the recipient of the clothing, etc., and will
benefit their clients. We extend a heartfelt thank you in the name of all those that will be helped because of your compassionate response!

a la Comunidad
La semana antes del cierre de la Puerta de la Misericordia, fueron invitados para traer alimentos o prendas
de vestir, sacos de dormir y artículos de higiene personal, para nuestros hermanos y hermanas que sufren
inseguridad alimentaria y los que están sin hogar. Y respondieron de todo corazón poniendo su fe en acción y demostrando su preocupación y compromiso en su respuesta generosa de alimentos, donaciones
monetarias y artículos para el hogar.
Los resultados fueron 109 parcelas, 6 canastas, 7 cajas que incluye vegetales enlatados, productos de carne, atún, sopa, cereales, avena, crema de cacahuate y otros alimentos nutritivos,
y hasta un pavo!
Las donaciones de alimentos y monetarias fueron para
a Caridades Católicas para su distribución a los que necesitan asistencia alimentaria. El Stockton
Homless Shelter recivio la ropa, etc. y beneficiará a sus clientes. Extendemos un agradecimiento
sincero en nombre de todos los que se ayudará por su respuesta compasiva!
