TWENTY - EIGHTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
First Reading: 2 Kings 5:14–17: The foreigner Naaman humbles himself and receives God’s healing.
Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 98 “The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power.”
Second Reading: 2 Timothy 2:8–13: If, like Christ, we hold out even to death, we will reign with Christ.
Gospel: Luke 17:11–19: Ten lepers show faith in obeying the Lord, but in thankfulness one goes a step farther
straight into the kingdom of God.
Naaman’s life was completely changed in our Old Testament reading today, as were the lives of
the ten lepers in the Gospel. Gratitude seems to be a small price to pay for such great goodness.
Yet as we hear these readings today, perhaps we can listen for the message that says how different our world would be if we all could live in gratitude for everything that God so freely gives us.

Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church
Tiempo Ordinario – Ciclo C
Salmo Responsorial: Salmo 50, 1-2. 3-4. 5-6.Misericordia Señor hemos pecado.

gala anual Llaves y Espada.

Salmo Responsorial: Salmo 50, 1-2. 3-4. 5-6.Misericordia Señor hemos pecado.

Ss. Peter & Paul Cathedral
October 9, 2016
