You are among the 3000 people who join us every Sunday to worship God and to participate in the renewing grace of the Eucharist. Our
Annual Report 2015–2016 shows that we have an active parish! The parish provides many different ministries to serve you as we grow
to be the disciples of the Lord Jesus. Thank you for being a disciple in our parish! I am happy that your spiritual and fellowship needs
are met in our parish community. With over 600 parish members participating in the ALPHA COURSE so far and many more at
numerous parish activities there is much to be grateful for.
You have remained consistently generous with your regular contributions to the Sunday Offering and other donations. These offerings
provided a 2015-2016 Total Operating Income of $1,612,367. The Total Operating Expenses were $1,605,044 which has allowed for
$7,323 to be added to our Parish Reserves (Savings). THANK YOU! This year we began to tithe some of our income for missionary
churches and non-profit organizations.
With our projected 2016-2017 Total Operating Income of $1,638,425, we are able to keep our budgeted Sunday Offering goal at
$24,000. Please consider using online giving. It is easy, consistent and provides a record of your tax deductible donations. You can find
information about online giving on the parish web site or inquire in the Parish Office.
Your generosity truly makes a difference and is appreciated. This healthy financial position enables us to continue with our missionary

Nuestra parroquia ofrece muchos tipos de ministerios que están a su servicio y que nos ayudan a convertirnos en discípulos de nuestro
Señor Jesús. Gracias por ser discípulos en nuestra parroquia. Yo me alegro de corazón al saber que es aquí, en nuestra parroquia, en
donde satisfacen sus necesidades espirituales y de confraternidad. Hay muchos que atienden diferentes programas de formación de la fe
y muchas otras actividades de la parroquia.
Sus contribuciones han sido constantes tanto hacia las Ofrendas Dominicales como hacia las otras donaciones. Estas donaciones

40 Anniversary Celebration
Three parish members are needed to participate in the
40th Anniversary Mass for the Diocese of Orange on
Sunday, September 18th.
The Parish Representatives will participate in the mass
carrying a banner in the entrance procession.
The representatives will need to attend a rehearsal on
Saturday, September 17 and the mass on September 18 at

provide emergency assistance to those in need. Join Us!!

Rite of Welcome on Saturday, September 3,
at the 8:30 A M Mass
And The Rite of Acceptance on Sunday
at the 5 PM Mass
Come to participate and be a part of these ancient rituals.
We will be celebrating the Rite of Acceptance and Rite
of Welcome separately for individuals who have been
walking the journey of becoming Catholic. These
candidates have been preparing for a few years now and
will be stating their wishes as to why they want to
become Catholic. They will be preparing to be received
into the Catholic Church by receiving the Sacraments of
Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Communion). We
are also welcoming those who are already baptized in
another Christian faith seeking to become Roman
Catholic and will prepare to receive Confirmation and
First Holy Communion. This is a wonderful ritual to
experience and participate with them as we welcome
them into our church community.
The Rite of Acceptance on Sunday will begin with the
ritual taking place outside in the church courtyard then
enter into the church together as one community.
If you are interested in the process of becoming Catholic

Adult Choir (10am Choir) News
“Raise your Artistic Standing with
SVDP Adult Choir”
St. Vincent de Paul Adult Choir is inviting all
who enjoy music, singing and fellowship to
join in the fun! The choir is a friendly group
that prays together, rehearses on Tuesday
evenings (7:15 to 9:00 PM) and sings on
Sundays at the 10 AM Mass. Come and learn more about
your hidden talents, body posture, general health and ability
to produce resonant sound. Training will be provided.
