The Los Angeles location of the Order of Malta is hosting a Mass and
Anointing of the Sick on Saturday, February 13, at 12:30 p.m., at the
Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. This celebration is being held in
observance of the 2016 World Day of the Sick. Abp. José H. Gomez will
preside at the Mass and Anointing. Wheelchairs are welcome with a
preferred seating area and a group of dedicated volunteers to assist at
curbside in getting people into their wheelchairs and into the
Cathedral. The World Day of the Sick was instituted in
1992 by Pope John Paul II. ".
