Dear Friends of Holy Spirit,
Welcome to Christmas Week!
Although there will be hectic
elements to this week, let us stay focused on the
true meaning of Christ: our God became one of us
so that He could lift us up to eternal glory! As the
angels sing the first Christmas, “Glory to God in
the highest, and peace to his people on earth!”
Remember, don’t expect perfection during the
Christmas holidays…a few things will not go
right! But anticipate finding the Lord in the
midst of your celebrations!
The REALLY crowded Mass at Christmas is
the 4:00 P.M. Christmas Eve Mass. This is the
only Mass that is overcrowded with people
standing everywhere. If you would like to avoid
the crowding, consider attending the 6:00 P.M. or
10:00 P.M. on Christmas Eve, or the 9:30 A.M.
Christmas morning Mass.
Thank you for your support of the homeless in
our community through the offering of cookies
each month. These are distributed through St.
John’s Catholic Church downtown. Our youth
have a special interest in serving the homeless
also and we are looking for some adults who
would like to work with the youth in this area of
ministry. We are not sure what direction this will
take, but if you have an interest in helping our
homeless and working with our youth, please call
Mary Kate Shanahan, our youth minister, at the
parish offices (353-9404).

La Pastorela
Esta es la continuación
de la semana pasada…
El argumento básico de una
pastorela consiste en que
unos pastores intentan ir a

enfermos, que has acompañado a
Jubileo sigan produciendo frutos
abundantes en los años venideros.
