The Entrance Examination for the English Teaching Module
The entrance examination - written exam - for the candidates applying for the English Teaching Module
will take place at the Faculty of Medicine, the Department of Foreign Languages, 8, Eroilor Sanitari
Boulevard, on Tuesday 29 September 2015 at 12.00 p.m.
The candidates must come to the Faculty of Medicine one hour before the beginning of the exam, i.e. at
11.00 a.m. They shall be allowed into the examination halls ONLY after presenting a valid ID card or
passport (EU citizens) or passport (non-EU citizens) issued by the country corresponding to their
registration, as well as the paper (certificate) issued by the Office for Foreign Students certifying the
payment of the examination fee. NO other identity documents shall be accepted, i.e. another passport
corresponding to another citizenship of the candidate.
All the bags and mobile phones (switched off) shall be deposited in a designated area of the examination
halls and shall be collected at the end of the examination. The candidates shall retain only two standard
blue pens.
The written exam will comprise grammar and vocabulary exercises, as well as writing an essay on a
general topic, testing the candidates’ ability to read, write and understand academic English.
The grades for the English written examination are given from 1 to 10, the minimum passing grade being
5,00 (five). The results of the English examination in the decreasing order of the grades shall be posted at
the Rector's Office, The Office for Foreign Students. The possible complaints regarding the results of the
written English examination can be submitted ONLY at the Registry of the Rector’s Office within 24 hours
from the time of the posting of the results. The results of such complaints shall be posted at the Rector’s
Office, The Office for Foreign Students, within 3 working days from the end of the period for the
submission of such complaints.
