oving and faithful God, through the
years the people of our archdiocese
have appreciated the prayers and
love of Our Lady of Prompt Succor in times
of war, disaster, epidemic and illness. We
come to you, Father, with Mary our Mother,
and ask you to help us in the battle of today
against violence, murder and racism.
Capital Campaign
Bless parents that they may form their children in faith. Bless and protect our youth
that they may be peacemakers of our time.
Give consolation to those who have lost
loved ones through violence.
Hear our prayer and give us the perseverance to be a voice for life and human dignity
in our community.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Our Lady of Prompt Succor, hasten to help
us.
Mother Henriette Delille, pray for us that we
may be a holy family.

All Who Are Thirsty
1. All who are thirsty,
all who are weak,
come to the fountain.
Dip your heart in the stream of life.
“God is rich in mercy . . .” Ephesians 2:4
Let the pain and the sorrow
be washed away
in the waves of His mercy
as deep cries out to deep.
We sing:
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
2. All who are thirsty,
all who are weak,
come to the fountain.
Dip your heart in the stream of life.
Let the pain and the sorrow

How Can I Keep From Singing
1. My life flows on in endless song
Above earth's lamenta on.
I hear the real though far-off hymn
That hails a new crea on.
Refrain
No storm can shake my inmost calm,
While to that rock I'm clinging.
Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth,
How can I keep from singing?
2. Through all the tumult
and the strife,
I hear that music ringing;
It sounds and echoes in my soul;
How can I keep from singing?
3. What, though my joys
and comfort die,
The Lord, my savior liveth.
What though the darkness
gather 'round?
Songs in the night it giveth.
4. The peace of Christ
makes fresh my heart,
A fountain ever springing.
All things are mine since I am his;
How can I keep from singing?

Be Not Afraid
1. You shall cross the barren desert,
Page 2
but you shall not die of thirst.
You shall wander far in safety
though you do not know the way.
You shall speak your words
in foreign lands and all will understand.
You shall see the face of God and live.
Refrain
Be not afraid.
I go before you always.
Come, follow me, and
I will give you rest.
2. If you pass through raging
waters in the sea, you shall not drown.
If you walk amid the burning flames,
you shall not be harmed.
If you stand before the pow'r of hell
and death is at your side,
know that I am with you through it all.
3. Blessed are your poor,
for the kingdom shall be theirs.
Blest are you that weep and mourn,
for one day you shall laugh.
And if wicked men insult
and hate you all because of me,
blessed, blessed are you!

Sending Forth
Go Make a Difference
Refrain
Go make a diff'rence.
We can make a diff'rence.
Go make a diff'rence in the world.
Go make a diff'rence.
We can make a diff'rence.
Go make a diff'rence in the world.
1. We are the salt of the earth,
called to let the people see
the love of God in you and me.
We are the light of the world,
not to be hidden but be seen.
Go make a diff'rence in the world.
2. We are the hands of Christ
reaching out to those in need,
the face of God for all to see.
We are the spirit of hope;
“God is rich in mercy . . .” Ephesians 2:4
we are the voice of peace.
Go make a diff'rence in the world.
3. So let your love shine on,
let it shine for all to see.
Go make a diff'rence in the world.
And the spirit of Christ
will be with us as we go.
Go make a diff'rence in the world.

con los dones del altar,
la naturaleza entera,

1. O God beyond all praising,
We worship you today
And sing the love amazing
That songs cannot repay;

For we can only wonder
At ev’ry gi you send,
At blessings without number
And mercies without end:
We li our hearts before you
And wait upon your word,
We honor and adore you,
Our great and mighty Lord.
2. Then hear, O gracious Savior,
Accept the love we bring,
That we who know your favor
May serve you as our King;
And whether our tomorrows
Be filled with good or ill,
We’ll triumph through our sorrows
And rise to bless you s ll:
To marvel at your beauty
And glory in your ways,
And make a joyful duty
Our sacrifice of praise.

Living Feast
1. God of God, King of Kings
Dwell in us here in all who believe
We eat of your body,
drink of your blood
Gi s of God's grace, you sustain us
With precious blood,
our debts you paid
Bread of life, you pave the way
Son of Man, you make us whole
Your sacrifice saves body and soul
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Refrain
Come to the living feast of the Lord
where death and dying and
fear are no more.
The blood of the Lamb
has washed us clean.
Forever and ever we
are now made free.
Believe in the truth
that bread and wine
now have become our living sign.
Rejoice and be present
in this living feast.
2. Lamb of God, you set us free
Son of God, in wine and wheat
Food for the journey, sent from above
That we may walk in
faith, hope, and love
Here our cry, to you each day
You walk beside us, you light the way
Living Word, you make us whole
Your sacrifice saves body and soul
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Sending Forth
All Are Welcome
1. Let us build a house
where love can dwell
And all can safely live,
A place where
saints and children tell
How hearts learn to forgive.
Built of hopes and dreams and visions,
Rock of faith and vault of grace;
Here the love of Christ shall
end divisions:
Refrain
All are welcome, all are welcome,
all are welcome in this place.
2. Let us build a house
where prophets speak,
And words are strong and true,
Where all God's children dare to seek
To dream God's reign anew.
Here the cross shall stand as witness
And a symbol of God's grace;
Here as one we claim the faith of Jesus:
3. Let us build a house where
love is found
In water, wine and wheat:
A banquet hall on holy ground,
Where peace and jus ce meet.
Here the love of God, through Jesus,
Is revealed in me and space;
As we share in Christ the
feast that frees us:

Find Us Ready
Refrain
Find us ready, Lord, not standing s ll.
Find us working and loving
and doing your will.
Find us ready, Lord, faithful in love,
building the kingdom
that’s here and above,
building the kingdom
of mercy and love.
1. We must wait for the Lord
for we know not the me.
So here and today
we gather and pray,
discovering love in our midst.
2. We must make straight the path,
God’s love revealed.
With sin cast aside,
God’s mercy alive,
fear not for here is your God.

And all to Jesus I surrender.
All to You I freely give.
Oh, I will ever love and trust You.

Refrain
Like the bread, we are taken.
Like the Christ, we are blessed.
On this altar we are broken,
giv'n as food that all might live,
giv'n as food that all might live.
Refrain
I wanna be in the light
as You are in the light.
I wanna shine like the stars

Lord, be my light and be my salva on,

All I want is to be in the light.
Interlude
I just want to be with You.
I just want to be with You.
Lord, we just want to be with You.
Lord, we just want to be with You.
Oh, wherever You are,

Oh, take us with You,
Oh, take us with You.
Oh, wherever You're going,
I just want to be with You.

1. How quickly we reject ourselves,
blinded from our call.
We resign to live in fear
of love, of self, of all.
This is not the will of God,
for the chosen must be free.

to live eternally.

O Lord, I Am Not Worthy
1. O Lord, I am not worthy
That Thou shouldn’t come to me,
But speak the words of comfort,
My spirit healed shall be.
2. O Lord, Thou art all holy,
The angels Thee adore;
How, then, ought I sincerely
My wrongs and sins deplore!
3. But when Thou soon will enter
My heart, my sinful heart,
Then heal me, be my shelter,
For Thou my Savior art.
4. O Lord, how can I thank Thee
For such a gi as this?
A gi which truly filled
my soul with heav'nly bliss!
5. I praise Thee, I extol Thee,
I love Thee O my Sire,
Till once in joy and glory,
2. Broken like the bread of life,
we o en flee from pain.
We resign to live our lives,
not knowing death's true gain.
This is not the will of God,
for in dying we will live.
The cross, a sign of victory
and of the healing it will give.

Some say it is good to have,
but the faithful learn to give.
Like the saints of old
who lived prepared,
we become like Christ

Sending Forth
In The Light
1. I keep trying to find a life
on my own, apart from You.
I am the king of excuses;
I've got one
for every selfish thing I do.
Tell me, what's going on inside of me?
I despise my own behavior.
This only serves to confirm
my suspicions that I'm s ll a man
2. The disease of the self
runs through my blood;
It's a cancer fatal to my soul.
Ev’ry a empt on my behalf has failed
to bring the sickness under control.
Tell me, what's going on inside of me?
I despise my own behavior.
This only serves to confirm
my suspicions that I'm s ll a man
in need of a Savior.

Ezekiel 47:1-2, 8-9, 12
Then he brought me back to the entrance of
the temple, and I saw water flowing out
from beneath the threshold of the temple
toward the east, for the facade of the temple was toward the east; the water flowed
down from the southern side of the temple,
south of the altar. He led me outside by the
north gate, and around to the outer gate
facing the east, where I saw water trickling
from the southern side. He said to me, "This
water flows into the eastern district down
upon the Arabah, and empties into the sea,
the salt waters, which it makes fresh. Wherever the river flows, every sort of living creature that can multiply shall live, and there
shall be abundant fish, for wherever this
water comes the sea shall be made fresh.
Along both banks of the river, fruit trees of
every kind shall grow; their leaves shall not
fade, nor their fruit fail. Every month they
shall bear fresh fruit, for they shall be watered by the flow from the sanctuary. Their
fruit shall serve for food, and their leaves
for medicine."

SACRED HEART ENTHRONEMENT
“Awake O sleeper, and arise from
the dead, and Christ will give you light.”
Isaiah 51:17
Are today’s headlines increasing your level of fear?
What are you most afraid of? Ebola? ISIS?
The Government? That there is no one you can trust to tell the truth?
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear
itself.” It is true that many real dangers loom on the horizon, however,
there are some who stoke our fear in order to profit from it, politically
and/or materially. We must not let them succeed. We must be strong,
unafraid to stand up to the darkness and lead lives which speak of
truth and faith and hope. St. Paul said, “Once you were darkness but
now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” Eph 5:8 Speaking on this scripture passage recently, Pope Francis suggested that we
each ask ourselves these questions, “Am I a Christian of light? Am I a
Christian of darkness? Am I a Christian of gray?” Self examination under the guidance of the Holy Spirit will draw us into an encounter with
Jesus, who will show us our true selves and give us the courage to reject all that is dark and sinful; to put apathy aside and to stand boldly
and lovingly as we defend our church and our God.
“Heart of Jesus, king and center of all hearts, have mercy on us.” Litany
of the Sacred Heart

Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are in
the Blessed Sacrament. I love You
above all
things, and I
long for You in
my soul. Since I
cannot now
receive You
sacramentally,
come at least
spiritually into
my heart. As
though You have already come, I
embrace You and unite myself entirely to You; never permit me to be
separated from You.
