and Equity in Latin America
AméricaEconomía Conferences will be
the host of the II Latin American Healthcare
Forum, an event that brings together
representatives from different areas of Latin
America’s healthcare industry. The event’s
goal is to analyze the many changes and
challenges that the sector faces while at the
same time enable healthcare professionals
to share experiences and to develop new
opportunities.
The theme of this year’s edition is Healthcare
4.0: Maximizing Efficiency and Equity in
Latin America. The focus will be on the
digitalization of healthcare and the
subsequent sharing of information.
Participants will discuss the benefits that this
brings to the patient in terms of diagnosis
and treatment and how it can help with the
development of pharmaceuticals.
The Forum will also examine what this means
for hospital managment and how hospitals
manage their talent. Raising the quality of
patient care while at the same time lowering
costs at a regional level is also a key theme
that wil be examined.
The Forum, which will be held on the 15th
and 16th of June 2016 in the Hotel Westin
Santa Fe in Mexico City, features keynotes,
speakers and discussion panels that will
provide comment on diverse areas of the
healthcare industry.

Who are we?
2016 marks AméricaEconomía magazine’s 30th anniversary.
Over the years the magazine has become the region’s leading
business publication and it is read by the most important
decision makers in Latin America.
The magazine’s continued success over a long period of time
has led to the development of the AméricaEconomía Media
Group: A combination of different media platforms with a wide
reaching audience.
In 1998 www.americaeconomia.com was launched, a news
site that today, 17 years after its creation, attracts an audience
of over a million unique users from the continent’s business
community. In 2015 AméricaEconomía began producing cutting
edge video content, both online and on television.
AméricaEconomía Media Group has contributed decisively to
establishing the region’s agenda by means of its publications,
website and now through its Forums and Conferences.
AméricaEconomía’s Conferences bring together protagonists
from different sectors in order to present and discuss issues
related to the future of the region’s business, economies and
politics. The conferences create a unique space for dialogue
which offers up excellent opportunities for the participating
companies by means of sponsorship or strategic partnership.
AméricaEconomía Conferences collaborates with the client in
order to promote brand positioning, leadership and presence
in addition to aiding in the development of new business
opportunities by means of networking meetings.
