Aviation Industry Event BowTies and Risk Management in Aviation Madrid, 26-28 January 2016 CGE Risk Management Solutions and SENASA cordially invite you to attend our Aviation Industry Event in Madrid on 26th January 2016. This event will give you the opportunity to share ideas, discuss existing BowTie risk analysis applications, have a look at the latest challenges within the industry and think about possible solutions together with like-minded peers. In addition you may choose to attend the 2-day BowTie training in the following days to extend your knowledge of the BowTie method and the application of the method in the BowTieXP software tool. Barrier based risk models, and in particular BowTie diagrams, are increasingly being used to integrate data and understanding of key aviation safety risks. In 2014 the CAA UK launched a project to build and share risk models related to their Significant Seven risks. The BowTie models resulting from this initiative are now available to be downloaded from the CAA UK website (click here for more information). At European level, BowTie and other barrier based models such as Risk Assessment Tool (RAT) are being used by service providers, authorities and international bodies like EASA and Eurocontrol. 2-day BowTie in Aviation Training, 27-28 January 2016 In addition to the Workshop on the 26th of January, we will also offer a 2-day BowTie in Aviation Training on the 27th and 28th of January to help you explore how the BowTie method can support and extend your safety management efforts. Participation cost for the 2-day BowTie training is EUR 900,- (includes course materials, 30-day trial licenses of the BowTieXP software, refreshments and lunch).
