PRAESIDIUM is the national leader in abuse risk management that has
more than two decades of experience working with dioceses, religious,
schools, YMCAs, camps, childcare, youth sports, and social service
programs? Praesidium Training for Parents “Called to Protect™”
is a program designed to help parents, catechists, employees
and volunteers know how to prevent child sexual abuse.
Praesidium:
Is based in the most current scientific information.
Its concepts are consistent with the Catholic teachings.
Extensively field-tested in the Catholic community.
No cost.
No mandatory on line training.
This program is divided in four parts: 1) For Ministries, 2) For
Parents and Families, 3) For Youth, 4) For Children. Part Two,
Called to Protect™ for Parents and Families, teaches parents
what they must know to protect their own children. They learn
what to watch for and the actions to take if they see something
of concern. They also learn how to begin communicating with
their own children about their bodies and how to keep them
safe.
The Praesidium Training for Parents and Families is
available for the Sacred Heart Chapel community (21 yrs &
older) March at 10:30 am featuring Sharon Minson, the
General Director of the Called to Protect God’s Children from the
Diocese of Cleveland. The session lasts one and a half hour,
includes a professionally produced video, guided group
discussion and workbooks for participants.
Let us come together to express our gratitude and love for our
Lord by making His journey to Calvary with Him on Friday’s
of Lent at 7pm. We will also hear the witness presented by
persons that were present at our Lord’s passion.

Padres "Llamados a Proteger ™" es un programa diseñado para
ayudar a la audiencia – padres, catequistas, empleados y
voluntarios – a saber exactamente lo que necesitan para

Creating a sawdust rug is a great way to spend time with your
family or ministry group. Turn in a design for your Rug to the
office by Sunday March 15th. Then plan on filling in the Rug on
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week March 30th ,
31st and April 1st.

Sacred Heart Chapel and the Diocese of Cleveland are

for Parents. This is a program for Prevention of Sexual Abuse

The National Catholic Youth Conference is a powerful, three
day experience of prayer, community and empowerment for
Catholic teenagers (of high school age) . This year NCYC is
November 19 - 21 in Indianapolis. We are in the midst of

Peace & Justice Dinner and Celebration
Reservations are available now through March 9th for the
25th Annual Peace & Justice Dinner and Celebration. The
Dinner is Saturday, March 14, 2015 here at Sacred Heart
Chapel. Social hour will begin at 6:00pm followed by dinner
at 7:00pm.
The Catholic Action Commission of Lorain County (CACLC)
hosts the annual event, which includes a Pick ‘N Choose Raffle,
Quilt Raffle, and the presentation of the Bishop A.J. Quinn
Justice Award and the Faithful Servant Award. Reservations

Answer the Call Men’s Conference
Dinner with the Bishop
For any young man (high school through age 40) who may be
considering the call to the Priesthood, there is a special dinner
at the Seminary with Bishop Lennon, on Wednesday, March
18th. It is an opportunity for young men to hear the Bishop
personally reflect on Christian vocation and service in the life
of the Church and our diocese. It is his hope to personally
connect with many of the youth and young adults from the
diocese who are open to considering priestly life. If you are
interested in this event, please see Fr. Bill.

The Catholic Men’s Fellowship of Northeast Ohio will be
holding their annual “ Answer the Call” Conference for men at
Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in Cleveland on Saturday,
March 21st. All men, 15 and older are encouraged to attend.
The Conference begins with a light breakfast at 8:00am and
