Congratulations on all the work done during this past bimester. It really
shows how much you have developed as a student and how capable you
are of great things!
This week we begin bimester 4, all about farm life!
Our universal understanding is: The development of agriculture affects what
we eat. And our question is: How do farming techniques affect what we eat
today?
Our new value is: responsibility.
This bimester we will continue with our reading time (for reading log) of 90
minutes.
Be a Reader: Students will learn all about agriculture and living on a farm.
Be a Scientist: Students will learn about the parts of the plants, and their
function.
Be a Mathematician: We will focus on polygons and their perimeter.
Be a Writer: Students will learn how to do an editorial through persuasive
writing.
Be Literate: we will be working on transitive and intransitive verbs.
