Day to provide free dental attention to children who are without
dental insurance and from low-income families.

• Provide free dental services to
local, uninsured children who
would otherwise not receive dental
care.
• Raise awareness of the epidemic
of untreated dental disease
occurring in Colorado and across
the country.

Children WITHOUT dental insurance from families

es celebrado cada ano para:
• Proveer servicio dental gratis a
ninos de la comunidad local y
sin seguro que de otra manera

• Para promover y aumentar
conciencia sobre la epidemia
de enfermedades y condiciones
graves dentales que no son
atendidas y que estan
ocurriendo en Colorado y
atravez de el pais.

Quien Califica?
Ninos que NO TIENEN seguro dental y para familias
que NO TIENEN la abilidad de cubrir el costo de
atencion dental.
Que es?
El dia de dar Una Sonrisa a los ninos es un programa
nacional que provee a los ninos con el tratamiento
dental y educacion gratuita. Este es un evento para
ayudar a los ninos que no tienen acceso a atencion
dental.

Give Kids a Smile Day is a day of free education and treatment
for KIDS organized by the Colorado Dental Association every
February.
To qualify for a Give Kids a Smile Day appointment, your
child/family must meet ALL 5 of the following criteria.
1. The child needing an appointment must be 17 years old or younger.
2. Your family must be low-income and unable to afford dental care.
3. Your child must be dentally uninsured (no dental insurance or
CHP+ coverage).
4. You must have transportation to get to your appointment.
5. You must be able to show-up at your appointment on time.
If you are a match with the 5 requirements above, we welcome you to
participate in Give Kids a Smile Day. Please remember that appointments
are first-come, first-served. When making an appointment, please say
that you are "calling to make an appointment for
Give Kids a Smile Day."
