Table 6 contains Acts and subordinate laws repealed in 2015. Legislation that has lapsed,
expired or ceased to have effect is treated as repealed legislation. Table 6 includes
proposed repeals by bills.
How legislation appears in table 6
Table 6 shows Acts and subordinate laws repealed in 2015 in alphabetical order.
Notification and commencement details for the repealing provisions are included. Some
repealing laws were notified before 2015, but the repealing provision only commenced in
2015. Other repealing laws were notified in 2015 and the repealing provision commenced
in 2015. In some cases notification happened in 2015, but the repealing provision had not
yet commenced.
If the repealing legislation has commenced, the repealed legislation appears in bold type.

Automatic repeal of amending or repealing laws
An amending or repealing law is automatically repealed on the day after all of its
provisions have commenced (see Legislation Act 2001, s 89 (1) and (10), def amending
law). However, the repeal of an amending or repealing law does not affect the continuing
operation of the amendments or revive the repealed law (see Legislation Act 2001, s 86).
