Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF)
The ADDF seeks to fill the critical translational funding gap between basic research and later stage drug
development. We fund high risk, early stage drug discovery and development projects and catalyze
scientists to enter the drug discovery field. We help to create new biotechnology companies, and to fund
early stage biotechnology companies, with programs dedicated to Alzheimer’s disease drug discovery. We
are soliciting proposals for the following two programs.

ASTRO Junior Faculty Career Research Training Award
This award was created to stimulate interest in radiation research early in junior faculty’s careers by
offering them the opportunity to have focused time for research projects in radiation oncology, biology,
physics or outcomes/health services.

American Parkinson’s Disease Association
George C. Cotzias MD Memorial Fellowships
The American Parkinson’s Disease Association has established the Cotzias fellowship with the goal of
assisting promising young neurologists in establishing careers in research, teaching and clinical services
relevant to the problems, causes, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease and related
neurological movement disorders.

A-T Children’s Project
Research Grants
The A-T Children's Project provides competitive awards for basic science, translational and clinical
research grants related to ataxia-telangiectasia. In giving these grant awards, the Project strives to assist
respected scientists in developing a clearer understanding of ataxia-telangiectasia. We are determined to
find a timely cure, or life-improving treatments, for this serious disease.

Damon Runyon-Sohn Pediatric Fellowship Award
Created in partnership with the Sohn Conference Foundation, dedicated to curing pediatric cancers, this

Sontag Foundation
Distinguished Scientist Awards
Annually awarding multiple $600,000 grants to support brain tumor research, the foundation is looking for
increased survival rates and improved recovery for patients. The foundation is looking for a cure or at the
very least, treatments to make brain cancer a manageable chronic disease. These awards are presented to
