Service Lloyds Insurance Company is seeking a Loss Control Representative in the
Dallas Metro area. The successful candidate should have/be able to;
o 10 years insurance carrier experience, multi-line preferred, Workers
Compensation required
o Industry certification(s) such as:
 CSP (preferred),
 ARM
 CRM
 ALCM
 OHST
o Earned a BS (or higher) degree in safety engineering, industrial safety,
industrial hygiene or other closely related field.
o Strong analytical skills (loss analysis)
 Be able to analyze loss trends quickly and easily
o Strong written and verbal skills
 Ability to explain to both agents and policyholders what loss trends
mean
 Ability to “sell” your recommendations to policyholders
 Ability to “sell” agents on the benefits of loss control and loss
prevention
 Ability to write meaningful reports for underwriters
 Ability to provide clear and concise recommendations to
policyholders
o Strong computer skills
 Experience with MS Excel and Word
 Ability to manipulate loss data in Excel
o Strong interpersonal skills
 Ability to listen to others
 Ability to work with all levels of management
 Ability to “sell” your ideas and recommendations
 Ability to create a teamwork environment with agents/policyholders
and co-workers
o Must be self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
