St James Anglican Church Manotick is hosting an Ash
Wednesday Discovery Day February 18th for youth ages 12-18.
The theme of this activity day is “We Can Change the Wind”.
This will be led by Karri Munn-Venn from Citizens for Public
Justice, Rev. Ross Hammond and Donna Rourke, Director of
Youth Ministries. From 8:30 to 4:00. Lunch, snacks and drinks
will be provided. Contact [email protected]. Youth
aged 12-18 please join us for this day of discovery and activities.

Imposition of Ashes: Ash Wednesday, February 18th at 7:00

The God who Gathers: Please join in on this Lenten study on
the Gospel of Matthew. This Study was created by Bishop Tim
Harris who was the founding Dean of Bishopdale Theological
College in Nelson, New Zealand, and is now Assistant Bishop in
the Diocese of Adelaide, South Australia. The topics covered in
this five week program are: Exploring our Roots: Drawn into
the family of Jesus, Light within Darkness, Another Way:
Christian Counter-Culture, A Community Unlike any Other, and,
Community, Kingdom and the Cup of Christ. The study will
take place on Thursday Evenings at 7:00 pm beginning on
Thursday 19th and ending on March 26th. You can view the
study at “New Anglicanism The God who Gathers” on your
computer. Please sign the registration sheet at the back of the
church.
